You know, when this first happened, I was convinced this had to be your doing. Some sort of vivid dream nougat or something you were working on without telling me.

I'd love to take credit for this lovely bit of reality warping, but it wasn't me.

You look too young to be from my time, so are we running the shop together yet or no?

Pity. There's a market for that kind of magic. Yes, for the past three years.

I thought you looked a bit ancient. Where did they find you? 2050?

Be nice, or I'll make sure that they only feed you terrible porridge.

I'm from 2017, so I'm 39. Far from ancient.

There was mention of a cheeseburger and now I can think of little else.

Right. You're just wise and distinguished. So what's new in the future? Do the Cannons ever make their long-awaited rise from mediocrity? Does mum finally tire of knitting sweaters and switch to scarves?

So don't bring you any other food?

That would be spoilers, mate. Can't tell you any of that right now. Just gotta wait and see, in case we ever go back.

Wait, are you married yet?

You can bring me whatever you like! Whatever that's edible. Whatever that's edible by humans.

Look at you being all fair and logical. I don't like it.

No, and at this rate, I'll never be! Though I have to think that being hijacked by space magic counts as a valid excuse.

Technically, dog biscuits are edible by humans.

I could tell you that you're wearing an eyepatch over the left eye and have died your hair blond, but would you believe me?

You think Hermione Granger is going to let space magic count? Think again, mate.

Damn your loopholes.

I dunno. Maybe everyone goes through a pirate phase in the future. I think you could really pull off a peg leg.

Good thing I've become something of a professional groveller.

Behave, boy. Or you won't get biscuits.

Missing an ear, might as well try the peg leg too, eh?

Sounds about right. You're lucky she loves you.

Come on, George. I'm always on my absolute best behavior when there's food involved.

It'd have to be on the opposite side. You know, for the sake of balance.

Don't I know it! Luckiest man alive, that's me.

Up until you get the food, that is.

Makes sense to chop off body parts on opposites. Right.

Don't think you're getting a break from running WWW, now that you're here.

Maybe even after. Depends on how good the food is.

Did you open up another shop, then?

Haven't, but only because I didn't have you around to do the heavy lifting. You got two days to take a break, then we're getting started.

That's me, the muscles of the organization. But what's a bunch of muggles going to do with magical objects? Do we need to come up with a non-magic line?

We'll have to, if we want to stay in business. The displaced can have access to our magical products, but the rest will have to deal the non-magical.

But we'll work on logistics once you're out of quarantine. Who is coming to see you?

So you're telling me this isn't some prolonged, unasked for vacation?

Harry's promised to come see me with some sort of fictional books that we're a part of. And Seeker Charlie said he would come by with a drink. I'm undecided on which one makes my head hurt more: the fact that there are books about us or that we have a brother who is not our brother.

I wish. Because a vacation would eventually end and this one...hasn't. I have a wife and kids I need to be getting back to.

He's our brother. He's our brother-adjacent, sure, but still a brother. Think about it this way, now we get to see what the fuss about being famous is all about.

Sorry about Angelina and the kids. That's rough. How long have you been away from them?

"Brother-adjacent," I like it! We're that famous, are we? I'll believe it when I see it.

So are you going to bring me food? Fill me in on your grand plan? I'm watching some muggle TV, but it's going to be a long two days.

Almost two months now. I'm hoping it doesn't last much longer.

Sort of. Don't look it up, it gets really strange on the internets.

I'll bring something edible and we'll figure it out together when I get there. We have two days to prepare a plan of attack.

If you work out a way to put in a request, let me know.

Don't tell me that! Now I gotta know!

I'll just wait here, shall I?

A younger Hermione was here briefly when I first got here, but she seems to have gone back home. If I figure out how to bring any of them here, you'll be the first to know.

I'm serious, mate, it's a hole you don't want to fall down. You won't be able to look at anyone the same after.

Don't have much of a choice, eh?

That's what Luna said. That would have been wild to see her like that again, but awkward as hell.

Alright, I suppose I should take the sage advice of my much older brother.

Much older brother? You know what, do me a favor. When you figure out how to Google, look up Harry/Ron.
