That way we don't have to go into the horrible history of Thanksgiving and how offensive it actually is.

You know, The Muppets. Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo. The Muppets.

Well, we could. I have read exhausting amount of essays on its origins.

Those do sound like proper names for muppets.

We could, but let's not?

You've never seen Muppet Treasure Island? Or Muppet Christmas Carol?

As you wish.

I have read both Treasure Island and A Christmas Carol. Now you are telling me there are films of them with muppets comprising the cast?

If Jesse likes, we can watch Muppet Christmas Carol, it it the play they're putting on after all. Only, not with muppets. We'll just watch the muppet one.

It's a Christmas tradition, I cannot believe you haven't already seen this.

Watson, films are for people who elect not to use their minds to process the imagery provided them in books. That said, I will watch this film, should we all be in consensus, and do be prepared for an essay on its merits and flaws.

Films can always be a fun way to rest the brain. Or provide a balance between the imagery that you assigned to the book and a contrast of someone else's vision.

I would expect nothing less though.

I cannot accurately give an opinion until I have suffered through their cinematic adaptations.

You will nonetheless have found a film-watching comrade in Watson.
