I've gotten further now. I'm starting on the wings now, which is going to be a lot of work, but at least he's sort of more finished than he was before.

No. Not like a lawn ornament. He can carry at least three people on his back and fly.

We're good at machines and building things. Mom used to work on cars when I was younger.

As I would expect a metal dragon to be! Ours was kind of more meant to be an indoor dragon.

We don't talk about the circumstances surrounding his first decapitation. The pain is still too near. I think we're both lucky. He took pretty well to it last time. A lot of bronze and gold. And other parts that don't really have to be bronze or gold, but all the scales are.

That sounds reasonable for decapitation. At least, you get to decide for yourself. Where do you find all the parts you need? I've started squirreling away what I find and looking online/around for whatever might come in handy. Well if he's the bronze or gold dragon that would be important.

Some of it I can get out of my toolbelt, but that needs time to recharge, so I can't do too much. Mostly I try to find it wherever I can. Basically I am well acquainted with junk yards and trying to do odd jobs so I can buy some things.

People put so much useful stuff in junk yards. Any junk yards! I'm still learning the areas around Tumbleweed for that. I'm probably going to find a job online, if I can. Most people offering jobs don't consider me due to age (presumably, it could be height).
