	It kind of was slowly going that way for a while, but I think Alderaan. It's easy to kill Stormtroopers. They look like droids, they're expendable. No one cares. It's the same with a weapon like the Death Star. A planet doesn't have a face. You don't have to look at someone and see the life drain from them. It's abstract. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	You're familiar with the Tarkin Doctrine, I assume, believing that generating fear would achieve order. He failed to understand that the anger over killing an entire planet for the actions of a few would burn through that fear.
