I know we're not suppose to draw attention to ourselves here, but if I were to ward a field away from prying eyes, you lot think I could get a game of Quidditch going?

All interested parties, let me know.

Edit: CHARLES, give me access to your pit.

I crashed my pod first race out. I mean, a separatist spy was trying to kill me to get me off the track, but whatever. I'm definitely going to take that course.

It's... It's an energy that all living things are connected with. There are those who are Force-Sensitive, who can feel the Force around people and animals and plant life. With the Force, we can sense a person we know is nearby or that they're in trouble. We can tell when something bad is about to happen. Sensitives can always use the Force in other ways. Telekinesis is one of those ways. Force Healing. Jedi Mind Tricks. There's more, of course, but those are the ones that everyone wants to see. They're flashy.

Would you call the Force a more natural, innate magic? It doesn't seem too accurate, but that's the closest I can figure.

There are some who are more skilled with it, but it takes training to really hone those skills.

And of course, in my time, it was dangerous to show those skills.

Yeah, we have something similar to that in our world. It's less dangerous and more frowned upon to show our magic to non-magical kind. We have charms to erase memories, whole systems in place to prevent it these days, but a few hundred years ago, we had been hunted down for it.

Let's not steer this conversation in an unnecessary down manner.

Tell me more about Quidditch. The positions. How it works.

Surprisingly easy to go down a dark way, here.

But Quidditch! We got goal keepers, people who score points, people who go for big points by chasing a certain ball, and pairs of players that wreck havoc. I'm in the last category.

Who goes the fastest?

Seekers, the one chasing that certain flying ball, have to have speed to get it first since there's only one in each game. But they do a lot of sitting around on their brooms until it decides to show up. I'd say the Chasers, which score other points, would be your best bet if you want speed.

Give me a chaser position.

I'll make a note. When I get an idea about who wants in, we'll start setting this up for real. Keep an eye out for another post about this.

And sometimes, we can tell when somebody is talking about something relevant to us. Ahem.

(Or maybe I cheated and was just browsing the network.)

It helps with our reflexes, too, when we do things like race.

And here I thought you might have been smart and set up a notification whenever someone mentioned you.

Different teams then. I'll still kick your butt.

Remember the Halloween costumes? Bad, bad idea on this world. Unless I limited it to this network, but even then...

You started the lightsaber at a younger age than me, but flying? Please.

Note to self: setup a Google alert for "sexy star wars Halloween costumes" for Anakin Skywalker.

I'm a whole lot more graceful than you are.

Don't you dare!

Graceful is all well and good, but flying doesn't require grace, Snips.

These fingers are itching.

It does if you want to be aerodynamic.

Ahsoka, don't, I'm serious! Those things are horrifying, and someone else told me about the costumes of them that I should NOT see!

If you don't have thrust, all your aerodynamics still won't get you speed.

Calm down, Skyguy. Those things are horrible. I'd never inflict that on you. Now... humiliating you in a duel...

I've got thrust. I've got thrust everywhere.

I've never yet been humiliated in duel. Possibly I'm in denial.

Uh huh. Let's see it.

No, she wasn't actually discussing me. That would be different.

You're welcome to come when Ahsoka and I have a rematch duel. The people in town think we're just really good at costumes and stunts.
