The chill of winter has not abated and it will hang onto March with its sharp talons this week. Bitter winds blow a sallow cloud of fog each evening starting the night of Friday March 20th. Thick as a soup, the lamp lights hardly do much good through sundown to sunup. When the light of morning comes, the sun seems to startle the thick fog and it dissipates until evening visits again.
A fog?… No doubt you think, How is this a curious thing for London?!? but you see, this fog is only a concealment for the horrors and wonders within it. Not that it reveals too much yet. It is dangerous because no one can see. Crime will flourish. People will be trampled.
While you walk through the moist air, you might have a feeling of dread come over you. Something waits in the murkiness - you are sure. Ladies will hold onto their gents arms tighter. Those alone will wish they weren't. If only in the thralls of your heart-beating fear you take the time to look, and some of you will look, no doubt will find wonders and horrors hidden within. It’s Luck of the draw what you may find.
If yours are the type to peep at the mysteries that this mist might hold, comment with their names here . You never know what they might find. But be warned - it might not be what they’re hoping for.

Saturday,March 21-Last nights Pea Souper was particularly troublesome in Brompton when two carriages collided. One horse was shot. One driver was crushed. The rest were brought to the hospital.

Thursday,March 27-The Black Fog continues to permeate the evenings. Be wary and listen for approaching carriages. There have been misfortune and woe this past week, as the fog advances each evening and drivers are dazed by the muddle of the haze.
