I have grown tired of the coffee here, it's not as exquisite as some back home. Perhaps I shall try it in a different way. Do any of you have a recommendation? I usually drink it quiet dark, but I am willing to make amends with lighter blends.

It's a special type of coffee press that uses pressure to brew the coffee. The brewing method extracts the coffee faster and more precisely than a drip machine, so it tastes smoother and fresher.

Moreover, those dark blends that you said you like? Trash. Those beans are dark and bitter because they got roasted until they burnt, and then they got torched again just to make sure they were completely ruined. Get yourself a locally sourced light or blonde roast, and you'll actually taste the bean. You'll thank me later.

[Cecil]: Me, Cecil, telepathic? Nooo. Although, imagination probably does make a very powerful placebo. If you think it makes coffee taste better, it does. Your thoughts are a powerful force in your own mind.

But no, I mean actually smashing the coffee beans with a coffee hammer. Thinking about someone you hate getting eviscerated and then buried in a painfully formulatic and unremarkable funeral with nobody who actually cares about being there and only Susan's dry chocolate-chip scones for refreshments really helps to get the coffee into the fine, delectable grounds that make a great cup!

	I'm not on the clock or anything, but have you ever tried a lungo? Sort of like an espresso but more water, much stronger than your average cup of coffee. Or if you really want a kick: mazagran. But those usually come cold and will get you a bit tipsy~ (Reply to this) (Thread)
