Previously, at The Greeks...

Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades started establishing their courts in the Skies, the Seas, and the Underworld. Zeus took Metis as his wife and queen, and there was an elaborate party and ceremony on Olympus, where Poseidon asked Amphitrite to dance, and Hades met Leuke.

The upcoming two week's (not so "mini") synopsis: Themis comes to Zeus with a startling prophecy, which changes everything. Poseidon has a liaison with Thoosa (who bears him Polyphemos, who will be important later on). Hades carries off Leuke, and begins a liaison with her. The Moirae come into the Underworld and join his court.

Zeus takes Themis as his second wife, and she bears him the Moirae and Horae. He then seeks an annulment from her, and has liaisons with Eurynome and Mnemosyne. Poseidon, meanwhile, has liaisons with Halia and Agriope.

The Erinyes come to the Underworld's court, and Hades has Menoetes care for his immortal cattle. The Keres become attendants to his throne.

Previously, at The Greeks...

The Olympians defeated the Titans in the Titanomachy, and the three brothers, Hades, Poseidon, and Zeus drew lots to divide the cosmos, with Hecate acting as moderator. Zeus drew the Skies, Poseidon, the Seas, and Hades, the Underworld. The kings then began to build their palaces and establish their courts.

This week's mini-synopsis: (slightly adjusted, and can be added to/further adjusted if needed)
Zeus takes Metis to wife, and hosts an elaborate coronation ceremony and welcoming party, where everyone is invited. There will be sports competitions, and lots of dancing. Poseidon continues establishing his court, offering Nereus and the Nereids, including Amphitrite, places at his court. He takes Gaia as his consort. Zeus hears the prophecy that a child Metis will bear him will overthrow him. Hades acquires Cerberus, and continues establishing his court.

A large screech-owl, scared to Hades, burst from the depths of the earth and on deft wings climbed the air to the summit of Olympus bearing a message for the Duchess Demeter from His Majesty The King, Lord of the Western Horizon.

Welcome to The Greeks.

It started with King Ouranos and Queen Gaia ruling the skies, as co-regnants. The King and Queen had many children, but Ouranos imprisoned most of them in Tartarus. The Titans, however, were not among these; they lived as princes in the his court. Queen Gaia, displeased with the treatment of her children, provided Prince Kronos with a sickle, and urged the Titans to depose their father. They freed their brethren, then fought King Ouranos, until Prince Kronos defeated him, castrating him with a sickle. Kronos then chose his sister, Rheia, as his consort, and they began to rule the skies from Mount Othrys. But Ouranos and Gaia made a prophecy, that King Kronos' children would depose him, just as he had deposed his father. So, he ate each of his children as they were born to Rheia. But he could not avoid the prophecy...

The Titanomachy has ended, and the three princes, Hades, Poseidon, and Zeus have defeated their father and his forces.

This week's mini-synopsis:
The three young princes draw lots, to see who will be king of which realm. Zeus takes the Skies, Poseidon, the Seas, and Hades, the Underworld.
Each of the three young kings works to establish their courts, and build magnificent palaces.
Zeus asks Metis to be his first wife and queen.
