| Who: Jack and Aidan Where: the woods When: afternoon
After hours of searching and coming up with nothing, Aidan was beginning to feel desperate. How did someone completely disappear in a closed environment? The only thing he could fathom was that she was hurt somewhere, or locked up in an attic, or starving herself. None of those options were acceptable. And while Aidan knew he was being almost creepily obsessive about finding her, he just couldn’t let it go. He and his kin had managed to chase her out of her own life, make her feel unsafe in her own home, and abandon everything she had. He had to set that right.
Which was how he ended up at Jack’s place, knocking on the door of what was supposedly a brothel. He was a bit curious about that part as well, but not today. He was too distracted with his quest, to find Sylvia or die trying.
Jack had been resting a lot after he'd got home. It had felt a lot like he'd been out drinking all night. So, he'd gone home, rested, and was still feeling a little exhausted, though he'd made himself get up. He was going to see Maggie at some point, so he probably needed to be conscious. He'd showered, and was actually heading to the porch, hair combed and he was going to have a cigarette before he worked out what his next move was. He could hear one of the girls having a vocal time upstairs somewhere. When the knock came, he just finished his way to the door, opening it up. "Hey," he greeted Aidan, stepping out of the house. "What's up?" ( quite the solution ) | comments: Leave a comment |
| Who: Aidan and Jack Where: O'Reilly's Pub When: Evening
Jack had opted to get himself a drink. After the werewolf bullshit, he needed one, and going in alone meant he didn't have to socialize unless he wanted to. Small talk would be okay. He just wanted a little time. He'd probably go for a long walk afterwards, even if he knew no real answers would come, regardless. He was a werewolf, there were other people who were werewolves, and that was that. Plus, vampires. And zombies outside. Yeah.
He sat at the bar, over to one side as far as he could get, so he would only have to worry about one other person sitting beside him, though no one had taken the spot. He nodded for another beer--his third, and he was taking note that by now at least he should have been feeling a little warmer...but he wasn't.
( vampires and werewolves, oh my ) | comments: Leave a comment |
