thread: hannah abbott & neville longbottom
WHO: Hannah Abbott and Neville Longbottom
WHEN: Afternoon of April 26
WHERE: Hannah's room
WHAT: A reunion! :')
WARNING(S): TBD, but likely none
STATUS: In progress
Hannah, for as sweet and naive as most people assumed she was at first meeting, was a fairly logical woman. For as much as she wanted to believe that all of this was something concocted by her imagination or subconscious, she knew with every moment that she still stood with her feet firmly rooted on the ground of this new place that it wasn't the case. She was here and this wasn't a dream. It was actually happening. The people she had spoken to seemed amiable enough, but it was Neville making his presence known that had calmed Hannah tenfold. While she would be able to deal with this situation as it unfolded if she had to, the idea that Neville was here made her relax automatically. Her first concern had been where he was, though she hadn't allowed herself to truly think or hope that he might actually be here, too. For as much as she hated the idea of being apart from one another, this situation didn't seem like it would lend itself to that sort of good fortune. But, he was here. He had been here for nearly a month. She didn't like thinking about him being without her as much as thinking about her being here without him, but those were thoughts she'd worry about later on. Now, all she could focus on was that he was here. This would be okay. She didn't have to panic. After telling Neville where she was, she held her device in her fingers, but paid it no attention. Instead, she paced the small room slightly, glad that whoever else was occupying it with her wasn't here. She knew that she likely looked a mess and, even if she could probably be forgiven for it with the situation being as it was, she was glad to have a few minutes to compose herself before Neville arrived. |
