I know there's a library here but is anyone writing down what's happening now? So we have a record of this history for whoever comes after us?

Me too. Didn't have time for much reading before I came here, but now I'm taking every chance I can get. What's your favorite kind of story?

Adventure stories. Read Robinson Crusoe a lot, growing up. I thought you were that k What's it like, having so many stories about your family?

What did you like the best about it?

It's confusing. A lot of what people know isn't true at all.

The travel. Seeing distant places, that kind of thing. I joined the Army after school partly because of that.

I'm going to guess that gets really frustrating. Because there are hundreds of versions of the stories, isn't there? And just the truth.

At least you can still visit places in books. Cause traveling doesn't look like its happening here.

Yeah. But I have all the true ones for my family in a book. So that helps.

Don't think there's much more distant travel than going to another universe, is there?

I'm glad you've got the book, then. Hey, sorry, didn't introduce myself. My name's Jordan Parrish.

I dunno. My family travels between worlds a lot.

Thanks. I'm Henry. Nice to meet you.

Sounds like your family's pretty special.

Good to meet you too. If I come across a notebook no one's using, I'll hand it over. Deal?

Thank you! I'll definitely put it to good use.
