LAW ENFORCEMENT & LEGAL:

We've got a limited number of slots available for volunteering on the settlements. We still need law enforcement around here so speak now or forever hold your peace.

Wasn't all bad at least. Met Nathan there, found a home. I was an orphan before, so it's nice to find a place you fit in.

It really kind of is. It's like those people who regulate their eating habits to fit into a certain body mould, and you're just like "When do you just enjoy life?"

Now that's a story. Every time I think I've found a home, something happens to it. I do have family, at least. Somewhere.

Turians are rather... strict. About everything. I'm a black sheep.

Haven was my home, and the people there were my family. I've still got Wuornos here, so there's some of that.

Is there a reason they're so strict? I mean, is it a choice to be strict or is it a biological trait sort of thing?

I can imagine it would be more difficult if you didn't have people you know.

Generations of training. We have a very organized, militaristic society. Almost fanatically. Almost.

Almost?

Almost. Maybe less than 20% are batshit crazy about it. That's an acceptable number.

So where did you come from then?

Philosophically or literally?

Literally, I assume you have parents or are created in some way.

I meant more like how are you the aberration?

Parents, yes. Siblings. Home planet. Every thing you'd expect from a healthy Turian.

In that I steered away from.. the family business. I tend to be a bit more chaotic than the rest of my race. If something needs doing, I can't stand by and let it happen because some regulation says I can't.

Gotta say, I really don't know what to expect from a healthy Turian.

You say family business, like it's something bad?

Oh good, that means I don't have to defy expectations.

Family is really more like the entire race. And business as in that military I was referring to. Though I get dragged back into that regularly anyway. Or I did.
