Summerview OOC

Hello loves! I am having way too much fun, and I hope you are too! As I've mentioned in chat, we are just a little bit out from the Bridgerton characters arriving, so applications will open soon! As mentioned, the characters can be either book or Netflix versions (but for ease of worlds we are handwaving that they are one in the same. Just try and be clear about any changes to canon if need be-linking to the wiki ought to be sufficient). Now, the availability of the same face for Bridgerton characters (so technically, the Netflix versions) is by consent of the characters who are already using those faces. If their face is not in use, you are free to use it regardless. You may ONLY reuse a PB that is currently in use FROM THE SHOW. So you can't use ANY of the non-Bridgerton faces. And ONLY if that player consents.

Please respond to this post EVEN IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A BRIDGERTON FACE just to acknowledge you read all this. If you do have a Bridgerton face, please state if you are okay with your face being used. I will asterisk this, and those faces are ONLY allowed for corresponding Bridgerton characters. I'll use it to mark when people hold Bridgerton characters.

You may hold a Bridgerton character regardless of how many characters you currently have of any gender.

So, to clarify: respond to this post. If you have no Bridgerton PBs, just say you read and acknowledge and you can ask any questions you might have about the plot etc. If you DO, please say whether you are okay with the corresponding character using your same face. I'll answer as an example, hope I'm not being too complicated. <3333 you alllll

Hello! Jules here and I have four! I've been in the game for a bit, and I'm happy / open to plotting things out for my characters.

1. Miss Caroline Bingley: She is the youngest of three, and she is a guest at Summerview Park with her brother, and the Darcys. She is an accomplished woman who wishes to elevate her status from the new money to marrying into an old family name or a title. She has opinions which are sometimes snobbish, and often thinks she better than other people. But she can be nice! Sometimes...

2. Captain Frederick Wentworth wentworthy: After recently completing his service with the navy, Wentworth has come to Summerview Park to find a wife (and to avoid going to Kellynch to see Anne Elliot). Since Anne rejected his proposal of marriage, he's been serving in the navy and made his fortune through capturing pirates, privateers and French ships. He hasn't considered a pursing another serious relationship until now, and he feels he's free to marry and find a wife. When he isn't moping about Anne, he actually is a rather nice and charming person. Gentleman friends for hunting etc. would be nice as well. He likes to think he is a sensible person, and likes to see that in others.

3. Miss Catherine 'Cathy' Morland missmorland: Cathy is away from home for the first time. She is with her brother James, and they are both hoping to finds matches with the help of Lady Whistledown. She is not the most accomplished of young ladies, as Cathy is mostly interested in reading novels and attending balls. Despite being 18, she is still quite young and inexperienced to what goes on in the real world. Her trip here has been sponsored by Mr. and Mrs. Allen, her wealthy neighbours, and Cathy is quite grateful to them (and maybe there is a false rumour that she is to inherit their fortune?)

4. Mr. Thomas 'Tom' Bertram tombertram: Tom is my most recent character! He is the eldest child of Sir Thomas Bertram, and he is the heir to his father's estate and title of Baronet. And well Tom doesn't really want it. He is the opposite to his father's more stern and serious outlook. Tom would rather have fun attending parties, gambling on the horses and cards, and enjoying a good drink. Oh, and he loves attending the theatre and putting on his own plays with friends (and perhaps family if they weren't interrupted by his stuffy old father). He's spent the last year in Antigue, and he is in a hurry to forget it and put it out of his mind, and do more things to disappoint his father. However, he's been sent to Summerview Park to speed up the possibility of him finding a wife: which is difficult since Tom isn't really that attracted to women, and doesn't particularly care for process of courtship. But he'll have to marry if he is going to leave!

Well howdy my Summerview lovelies! It's your mod Sarah and I thought I would start an Intro train because we never actually started doing these and sometimes it's good to have connections figured out and things in one place. First of all, thank you so much for joining me and making this game so fun so far! And as you've noticed, yes, if you want to add another MANSSS you can app a 4th if you already have 3. I have also added Sanditon as an available world, check the discord for a link to read the book!!! Thank you again to Jeanne for doing awesome work in the discord and helping me so I can just hang out and be Idea Lady (but please come to me with ideas I love them and will probably work them in!)

Now, onto the intros!

This here is Mr. George Knightley. He's a gentleman farmer, owning quite a bit of land and is decently wealthy and known to be a good landlord. He's well read and unpretentious, though he can be a bit of a snob towards people he feels are ignorant when they have no excuse for it. He comes from the Emma world, and even though he's 16 years her senior, he's a bit head over heels for Emma Woodhouse. He's trying to deny that fact because it bothers him that shes so much younger and should be more like a sister (his younger brother married her older sister). He also nurses a crush on Robert Martin, one of his farmer tenants who is very smart and well spoken and who he thinks is an honest, decent man. He's very kind though, and pretty proper most of the time, though he absolutely does not believe in looking down on others who are less well off.

Second is Lydia Bennet pearloftheball, the youngest Bennet sister from Pride and Prejudice. She's...a bit wild. Boy (officer) crazy, obsessed with music and gossip and dancing and HAVING FUN, she's good to have around if you want to hear the latest news or discuss the cutest boys but not exactly a tell your secrets to sort. She comes from later than most of her family and was about to go to Brighton when they got the letter and she decided to come. I apologize in advance for her being a bit annoying, but that's just her way. It's honest work, and someone has to do it. Her older sisters are much nicer but she's the better dancer and the tallest!

Third I have the dashing but dastardly Henry Crawford quitethecad from Mansfield Park. Henry and his younger sister Mary (pls app her) were raised primarily by their uncle the Admiral who was a Lothario and brought his mistress into the manor before his previous wife was all the way cold. He makes a game of trying to be what he thinks people want him to be and try and seduce whoever intrigues him. He appears more handsome on acquaintance, and most wouldn't think of him as anything but affable and kind. Very few people can see through his veneer, the only one being Fanny Price, which is naturally why he's obsessed with her and sure they must marry. Most of the time he's very interesting and funny and he does care about what you have to say, but in all likelihood he'll grow bored and try and find a new conquest once the old one isn't as shiny anymore.

Finally my newest, and so far the only OC in game, is Anton Stone sinklikea. He comes from Sanditon, where he owns a small house by the sea, and while surface friendly generally keeps to himself. He's from France, and secretly the heir to a large fortune (15,000 per year). His real surname is de Sabran, he changed it to Stone in Cambridge to avoid the French connection and so that people don't judge him based on his parents wealth and not his merits. He's kind but very naive, very romantic, and even writes novels! His latest was a bit of a hit and he earned a tidy sum from it. He wishes his parents had another son because he'd love to stay single longer but he knows his parents want to secure the family legacy. He's overall willing to talk to anyone though!!
