May 7: Game Opens-Opening Assembly where all characters are formally introduced, given their journals and magic quills, shown their quarters, and first dinner with all assembled. EMMA WOODHOUSE loses a glove which is picked up by MR. KNIGHTLEY, and the two magically appear in the music room. Mrs. Donmeyer, who introduces herself as the designated chaperone, is present and curtly explains that they have been chosen by Whistledown to have a tete-a-tete and will be stuck in the room for 2 hours before dinner. She will speak no more and just sits in the back of the room refusing any and all questions. HENRY CRAWFORD gets nervous and has second thoughts about the experience and runs out the front, trying to run away. They notice that when you hit the front drive you magically find yourself reaching the back of the mansion. CAROLINE BINGLEY and JOHN WILLOGHBY literally bump into each other and take an instant dislike. CATHERINE MORLAND spills punch down their front.
May 8: Church service in the chapel, Mr. Tomley is the vicar and gives the homily about the importance of love and marriage. All are welcome but attending service is not required. CHARLES BINGLEY sneezes loudly during service and attracts the attention of nearby JANE BENNET who blesses them. Mr. Tomley takes offense to this and they suddenly find themselves unable to speak aloud for the remainder of the day.
May 9: Lady Whistledown’s first gossip issue is released. Please submit if you would like your character to be mentioned and any particular action/journal or diary entry you wish to be included in the Whistledown drop box.
May 10: In the music room, ANTON STONE is monopolizing the piano forte and MARIANNE DASHWOOD really wants to play. MARIANNE DASHWOOD rudely tells GEORGIANA DARCY about their annoyance and a small kerfuffle between the characters ensues. Any present characters would notice. CHARACTERS 9, 10 and 11 will find that they are forced to sit next to each other at all meals for a week.
May 11: In the game room, CHARACTERS 12, 13, 14 and 15 (any) are playing whist, they find that the cards begin changing mid play so that 12 and 13, who are partners always lose and 14 and 15 always win. Outcome up to players!
May 12:Kitty Bennet and Anton Stoneare in the library writing a letter home only to find that the entire letter ends up on the journals.
May 13:JOHN WILLOUGHBY and ANTON STONE make plans to go hunting in the woods on the grounds. While out on the hunt, they find that the deer they clear shoot keeps disappearing and reappearing in the forest, evading their ability to bring back a trophy.
May 14: Weekly Ball: Open to all characters. Post your dance cards, explain who discusses what! CHARACTER 19 (any) and CHARACTER 20 (any) have a little too much punch and think it would be a lark to play a prank on Mr. Tomley. They find themselves with a large red blotch across their forehead which will not wash off for 24 hours.
May 15: Church service in the chapel open to all. A picnic is arranged on the lawn and all are required to attend. Literally. If you try and stay anywhere else you will find yourself on the lawn anyway. Whistledown has given each person a question that they must ask at least 3 different people in order to get to know one another better. Up to characters who they wish to ask.
May 16: Lady Whistledown’s gossip page released. CHARACTER 21 (female) and CHARACTER 22 (female) give a duet performance in the music room. Outcome open!
May 17: At dinner ANNE ELLIOT and CAPTAIN WENTWORTH bump elbows at dinner and find themselves in a parlor with Mrs. Donmeyer. They, like CHARACTERS 1&2, find they are trapped there and told they have been chosen by Whistledown for 1 on 1 time.
May 18: Horse racing! All are welcome to attend and HENRY CRAWFORD, ROBERT MARTIN, COL BRANDON and CAROLINE BINGLEY are racing. The winner receives 25 pounds (quite the purse!). Characters are welcome to bet on the outcome! Anyone who bets on the correct winner will receive 10 pounds.
May 19: During dinner MR. DARCY finds that everything they say can be heard by the entire table somehow. JANE BENNET opens a door while upset over the journals to find a room full of china and glassware. A large sign says "Please smash anything you wish", and she finds that she can break anything she likes with no harm to her.
May 20: An evening reading is arranged in the formal sitting room. MARIANNE DASHWOOD reads from Byron and for some reason all the words come out as nonsense.
May 21: Weekly Ball! Open to all characters. Post your dance cards, explain who discusses what! CHARLES BINGLEY and JANE BENNET find that they can’t stop dancing with each other, no matter who was on their dance cards.
May 22: Chapel service, open to all. Mr. Tomley rewards all who hear his sermon with a surprise. They all receive a letter from home!
May 23: Lady Whistledown’s gossip page released. While in the card room, GEORGE WICKHAM and LYDIA BENNET win their game of whist and suddenly find themselves, as previous characters have, in a magical room with Mrs. Donmeyer, chosen by Lady Whistledown. This time they find that the room’s walls are slowly closing in on them, though Donmeyer seems unphased. They must solve a puzzle to make the room stop closing in!
May 24: An afternoon tea party is arranged in the green parlor. Any are welcome to attend. If you drink the tea, however, you will find you can only ever tell the truth, whether writing or speaking. This effect lasts for 24 hours.
May 25: All characters are invited to play a game of croquet on the lawns. Attendance, like the picnic, is mandatory. CATHERINE MORLAND hits their ball through a wicket and it turns into a hedgehog. CHARLES BINGLEY’s mallet hits them the head and they are knocked out, needing to be nursed by Mr. Tomley. CHARLOTTE HEYWOOD wins the match and earns 10 pounds.
May 26:ELIZA WINTHROP finds themselves lost in the maze while out on a walk. They find that after several hours of wandering there is a note on a bench they were sure they passed several times. It says they must confess a secret in the journal or they may not escape.
May 27: ANTON STONE and ROBERT MARTIN walk out of lunch to suddenly find themselves locked in a carriage that is riding around the property at a rapid speed. Donmeyer is inside and tells them they must choose a female character each to join them or the carriage ride will continue indefinitely. JANE BENNET and GEORGIANA DARCY join them.
May 28: Weekly Ball-The end of the month ball is known as the Ivy and Roses Ball, and guests are surprised when an entire set of new guests arrive. And some of them, dear readers, have the exact same faces as others in the Park!
May 29: Sunday service in the chapel. Any characters with the same face who attend find that they can hear each other’s thoughts! This lasts all day.
May 30: Lady Whistledown’s gossip page is released. An evening concert is arranged and any characters who wish to perform can sign up to display their talents and all guests are required to attend.
May 31: CHARACTER 42 (any) was so upset about what was written about them in Whistledown’s page that they loudly complained about it at dinner. CHARLOTTE HEYWOOD agreed and the two of them suddenly find themselves in the library where Donmeyer hands them a code. They must hunt through all the books in the library to solve it or they will not be released for 24 hours.
