Thread: Because Family
WHO: Ellie, Sidro, & Sorin
WHEN: Monday evening after THIS
WHERE: The woods, the mausoleum
After Ellie told him that she planned on talking to Rider about how she felt, Sorin was eager to hear back on how it went. He didn't know when it would happen, but he expected it to be soon. When he got the texts from Rider saying that Ellie had run away crying after Rider let her down, Sorin knew there were only a few places she might have gone to hide. He also knew that he needed to bring backup. Ellie was having a hard time as it was, adjusting to controlling her powers, but now - especially without the numbing drug they'd all been under for most of their lives - she had to deal with all these teenage emotions, too.
They each handled things in their own way, but Sorin made it a point to watch over and look out for the teens who had escaped from the castle with him. He felt responsible for them and he'd set aside his own pursuits in order to make sure they were alright. Their blood oath held strong. That meant he was trekking through unfamiliar woods with a flashlight and a vague map he'd sketched from a previous venture, making his way out with Sidro to check some of the places Ellie might be hiding. An hour's walk north of the Academy was the strange locked mausoleum. They were headed there as the last resort and Sorin was growing increasingly worried.
"What if she's not here, Sidro? Where else could she be?" Sorin generally spoke Romanian with Sidro, especially when it was about one of the other students from Anton. "It's cold tonight. She should not be out here alone. We should have scryed for her or... something."
