Sorin nodded his head in agreement to Sidro's words, giving the other boy a soft smile. It took him a beat, however, to realize that his Serbian brother was holding his gaze trapped for that extended moment. Sorin blinked, quickly running through his head again what Sidro had said. Did he imagine it? Was Sidro trying to say something to him? There was no time to wonder about it for long. Ellie needed them. But Sorin still gave Sidro a thoughtful look as he comforted her.
"If they do laugh, we will have words with them." Sorin reassured. He was not one for confrontation, but for Ellie, he'd stand up to the biggest bully at the school. "But Sidro is right. It will not hurt forever."
