Thread: Further Questioning (Leon & Jae)
WHO: Jae Song & Leon Vincent
WHEN: Jan. 24, 2015, evening
WHERE: Music Room
Jae wanted to diversify the music she played. Much of the time she with what most people expected her to know to play: baroque, classical, Romantic, impressionist, etc. They were lovely songs and many of them were her favorites because of the challenge to play them and the technical merit it involved. A lot of that was found in modern music too, but it wasn't on the same level. But she still liked it and found herself paying more attention to music she found on the internet of covers done for the piano. After finding some covers of pop songs online, Jae did some digging and found sheet music and began learning them. Earlier that evening she'd come to the music room dressed in a nice dress with a pair of simple black ballet flats, despite the fact it was a Saturday. Her hair was pulled back into a loose braid that hung down her back to almost her hips. The song she was currently learning was one she'd picked up when she and Davian returned from Georgia earlier than anticipated or expected for all parties involved. When she first started it was learning the rhythms more or less, as reading the music wasn't an issue. It wasn't a complicated song, but she liked it and so by now it sounded more fluid than when she was first learning it. She wasn't quite at the point of knowing the song where her body moved along with the music as it did for songs that she'd committed to memory, but there was a swaying forward and back as she made some chords louder and intense than others. It took her a moment to realize there was someone else there. The scent was familiar but it wasn't at the same time. It was different than when she last really remembered it and one she was getting used to having around the Hydra dorm. Leon. It didn't come with the temptation it once had which now lingered solely around Barclay. Leon wasn't human anymore but had become something else. She had yet to really speak to him beyond the very brief conversation on his journal and the only time before that being avoiding him from shame of what almost transpired in the hallway. He'd caught her in a moment of weakness and that weakness was almost made something that his now sire would be incapable of saving him from. As the song concluded, she let the chord ring out, bouncing off the acoustically-pleasing walls of the music room before she turned to face him. It was relieving in a way that he wasn't a human anymore. It made his presence less of a strain on her willpower. "Hello, Leon," she said with a bow of her head, "is there something you need?" |
