Terragog's were......terrifying. Fascinatingly terrifying. Back home Cristiano and the mer's of the world lived deep, deep down in the oceans far from human eyes. Save for the few that dove and captured the merpeople they were generally safe. It was so troublesome to reach their kingdoms, after all. In turn, however, that meant the mers had little access to terragog knowledge, either. Their studies were all biased based on kidnappings, divings, and of course the way they fished and tore apart the sea like it was their own land to harpoon whales and capture sharks and dolphins. Cristiano didn't like that...yet here he had been very vigilant of those that came and went in the water and most had only gone to swim. There was no fishing he had seen, no big boats that cast nets around the beautiful sea creatures--or himself. Plus, there was Juliet.
Juliet was what brought him so close to land. He had not been so close to the shore since he had met with her brother or gone into the pair of homes that allowed access to his particular situation. His huge tail of dark blue and yellow flutes pushed him up close to the pier, right underneath, where he could see humans on the sand and listen to them walk on the wooden planks. Admittedly, he was shaking in his scales. He didn't know what to expect by meeting a terragog that was not related to Juliet, he was horrified they would kill him dead like in all the stories he had been told as a soldier in training, stories that came to him as a child and bore hatred and fear in mer hearts. But, for Juliet, he couldn't be scared. He felt sick and his right hand fist around a beautiful dagger carved from a shell, just in case, but he wasn't here to fight.
So he listened and wait.
