It didn't take Tony long to find the barn once he figured out that his phone had a map of the island on it. This phone was amazing and he was definitely going to keep it for when he got back home. There was a part of him that wanted to keep it for himself, but he knew he'd just end up showing it to his dad. Then Howard would take all the credit for it, as usual.

He walked into the barn and immediately sneezed. Something about the hay and the humidity. He didn't do outdoors very well. His time was spent in a lab or in a classroom. Or in his dorm room. Barns were where you took people to get rid of the body. His eyes went wide as he looked around and suddenly he didn't think it was such a good idea. But she had sounded nice so obviously he was just being paranoid, right? He suddenly desperately wished that his body guard had accompanied him to this strange place.

She had sounded nice enough, though. And she knew who he was, though that wasn't a stretch. Thanks to Howard most people did. He found a stack of hay bales that looked like a good place to sit and did exactly that, setting his bag beside him. It was full of books that he apparently wasn't going to need for a while.

	"I....um...." He cleared his throat. There wasn't much blood flowing to his brain just that moment. He looked down at his suit, still not sure why he was wearing it. "No, that's fine. Oh he wasn't help her little nibble of evil at all. Applejack was liking the reactions she was getting out of him just a little too much. She waited until he'd stripped himself of his jacket and tie, and she had his attention again, before she started climbing the ladder.

"There's blankets and stuff up here, so it's a bit more comfortable than it is down there." She glanced back, to be sure he was watching her. Yep, this was too fun.

	Tony made his way over to the ladder and couldn't help but stare at her ass. It was very nice. "Um, yeah." He nodded and then started to slowly make his way up the ladder. He actually had to concentrate on the simple task. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"This is really nice." He nodded, then mentally cursed himself. It was a hayloft, it wasn't nice. He shook the thought away as he came up into the loft. "That breeze is great." He undid a couple of buttons on his shirt and rolled up the sleeves to his elbows. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"Yeah, I like to take naps up here." If it were anyone else, she wouldn't have been acting like this. She would have been bashful and blushy. But she was married to this man, so it was easy to flirt and tease. Moving over to the pile of blankets she shook one out and lay it over a soft patch of well worn unbaled hay. "Snag that bag?" She'd left it pretty close to the top of the ladder.

	Tony smiled at her a little bit before going through the bag and getting the black thermos. As soon as he spotted the cookies, he opened up the ziplock and took a big sniff, sighing happily before pulling a cookie out and taking a bite. "These are really good." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"They're really, really good." He popped the rest of the cookie in his mouth and grabbed another one. "I wondered what that was, but couldn't quite place it." "Thanks." He smiled. He took another sip of coffee before he sighed a little. He closed up the thermos and set it down, laying on his back and staring up at the barn roof. His brain was already going over the various mathematical equations necessary to make the building so it would stay standing.

"About the girls?" The last word was said in a tone that was less than flattering.

	"Yeah, or girls in general." Applejack swept her braid over her shoulder and started toying with the end. She had a feeling he needed to get a few things off of his chest. Tony sighed again. "The biggest problem is that I started college when I was fourteen. So there are all these eighteen and older girls around and they just kind of adopted me. I soaked it in because, I mean, what fourteen year old boy wouldn't, you know?" He blushed a bit. "But as I got older, it didn’t change. And now, even though I'm almost the same age as the freshman, it still hasn't. I still get treated like the little brother."

He rolled so that he could look at her. "Then there's the fact that first day of school I was a freshman and by the end of the first semester I was a junior. Then by the end of the second semester, I had three different bachelor's degrees."

It wasn't bragging, it was just fact. Most people seemed to take it as bragging, though. And he was expecting the same treatment from her because of it.

"I bet that made it right hard for you to fit in. Did they resent you, ya think?" She could see how people could. Not having the advantage of such a fast moving mind like he had. They no doubt had problems with things that he just whizzed through.

Applejack didn't, she never could have. She loved his marvelous brain, and how it worked. Even if she didn't understand half the things he did. It was almost like he was magic. Even if he wasn't.

"Oh they definitely resent me. Until they want me to do their homework for them." He shrugged. "That's the way it works, really. And it's not helping at all that I've managed to complete about 12 years worth of college in three." He ran his fingers through his hair. "I usually just test out of most of my classes. The only reasons it's even taking me this long is because I have to do my doctorate thesis and that takes forever." He groaned. He just wanted it to be over so that he could leave the school.

	He looked over at her with a pained look on his face. "Maybe a couple of them, but they only got a C on it." He shook his head. "I hate school. I have always hated school.
