Shepard had set up the lighting in the opera house. It was easy enough given her omnitool gave her access to pretty much anything, once she introduced the things to the programing. So it was just a matter of standing on the stage and using it.

She hated standing there in her armor, no one else would be wearing it, except for Ty. She disliked the idea of being the only one armed against the tide. But she couldn't be weak against a potentially strong enemy. She couldn't stand there in just her skin or a simple uniform, just because everyone else was. At the very least she'd be able to draw fire, if there was fire, while everyone else took cover.

The metal seemed to clank louder than usual, as she paced the stage. She'd taken the hard road. And Shepard knew she had. But there was reason, if everyone else didn't see it was of no consequence.

	Tony landed just outside the opera house before going inside. He lifted the face plate of his helmet, looking around for a minute, then started toward the stage. "Looks good." He nodded. He had JARVIS do a scan of her armor, strictly out of curiosity. (Reply to this) (Thread)

"I think I should have cooked something." Shepard attempted to joke, even if she wasn't quite in the joking mood. "Prepared peace offering of some sort." Her armor was made up of a plethora of different metals and was also reinforced with sheets of ceramic plating on non-flexible parts of the body and had a kinetic barrier generator.

She openly did the same thing, using her omnitool to scan over his. "Nice." She complimented as she looked over the readout.

Lacey had kept the diner open for as long as she could and still make it to the opera house on time. As a result, she was wearing regular clothes, a lavender top and blue jeans. It was just as well. She didn't have the armor Shepard mentioned. The closest thing to a uniform she had was the apron she wore in the kitchen and she'd hardly wear that to an opera house. She made her way to the seats closest to the stage and glanced at Steve. "Do you mind if I sit close to you? You might feel a chill." She frowned, thinking that sounded wrong. "A chill because of my goddess thing. Ever since the lightening people feel a bit cold around me."

James had agreed to come to this gathering and he always did what he agreed to do. He also noted that the other man would be there. He thought about asking if they could talk after whatever this was ended.

Shepard said to dress as godly as possible so he wore the clothes he'd arrived in. He came unarmed, though. He didn't want to panic anyone with the large number of weapons he usually carried when in that "uniform".

	Bucky came spit polished. He'd had to toss a coin for a decision in what he wore. It was either the commandos uniform, or his 107th uniform. The Commando uni won over. Rachel wasn't completely sure that her inner goddess chose the dress she decided to wear. Or maybe she had, since the dress had just appeared on her bed with the matching shoes while she was in the shower. It wasn't the kind of thing she'd normally wear but it was obviously what she was supposed to wear as whatever goddess she was. In the long red dress with her hair done, she walked into the opera house and found a seat close enough to the stage so she could hear but far enough away from both the stage and the door that no one would have to go near her that didn't want to.

Rob didn't understand why he'd been invited to this stupid thing. he didn't really believe that he was a God, although he had been struck by lightning... nothing else had happened. Nothing... unusual. Well, plenty unusual, but nothing godly, surely.

He didn't even believe in such nonsense.

So, he'd not turned up dressed like a "God". What the hell did a God dress like anyway? If he was one, he would dress like himself, in the working clothes, tweed trousers and a white collarless shirt rolled up to the elbows, with an open waistcoat.

And he spotted Rachel, the lovely lady he had already met, and headed over to her. At least she was someone he wasn't like to lose his temper with. And... bloody hell, that was a dress. Don't stare, don't stare- fuck-

"Eh- hello, Rachel," he smiled, determined not to blush, and definitely not to look at her chest.

Matt lurked in one area of the large room, staying in the shadows as much as possible, his power calling to him, even as he restrained his inner god. He did carry a large rucksack, in which was a bunch of metal he had pulled up from the ground. He would be ready if he did need to armor up.

The only thing he gave his god was wearing the hammer he had found, which had become Mjolnir the moment he lifted it. He wore it attached to his hip, feeling the greater than normal weight of it, and solidity that made him feel powerful, seductively powerful.

All in all, Ty felt uncomfortable. He felt out of place in Shep's armour, he hated being surrounded by gods, all the arguments with his girlfriend being the center of it had gotten him and he was still irritated from talking to Abigail and Quinn. And then there was the prospect that Abigail herself would show up. He did not want to start a war with Loki. The other god was so much more powerful than he was than they were, not to mention that the god - not in this form - would end up trying to kill him.

While Shep was busy, Ty stood back. He wasn't keen on any kind of interaction. He might talk to Sookie, might talk to Rachel or catch Maryanne, would definitely talk to his own brother who he had dragged along. But gods in general was something he would rather like to avoid. Fucking gods!

Abigail wasn't sure why Shepard had invited all the gods and goddess. Perhaps she was planning on handing out torches and pitchforks and sending everyone after her. It would be a creative way for the other woman to deliver on her promise to 'kick Hel's ass'. Of course, it would be Abigail who would feel it, not Hel. Though Abigail doubted that mattered to anyone. She was tempted to turn around and leave. Abigail had chosen her dress to match what she knew of Hel's appearance - half one way, half another. It felt different than what most other people were wearing. Another reason to leave.

Abigail began making her way back out of the opera house when she felt a familiar desire, and Hel taking over. Ty was in the room. She turned and walked towards him, going by instinct. It wasn't easy for Abigail to recognize him in the armour, but Hel knew it was him. She stood next to him and actually laughed. "She put you in a full body chastity belt, huh?"

Jake and Open

To say that Jake had been shocked when he went to get changed would be an understatement. He'd taken "dress in your godliest clothes" to mean "don't wear track pants and put shoes on" but when he'd opened his wardrobe, his field uniform was hanging there. There were combat boots as well. No body armor, but that was probably for the best, given that the last lot of that he'd worn had wound up with a shitload of holes in it, and it would probably freak people out, himself included. He had no real desire to put the uniform back on - he was Omaticaya now, and tawtutes wearing clothes just like that were his enemy - but gods are pushy fuckers and Tyr seemed to be insisting. If he was the god of War, he would damn well look the part.

He felt torn once he was ready. So much of his life had been spent in uniforms just like this, and wearing it again felt like a sort of homecoming. But he was Omaticaya, damn it! He wore one of his Na'vi armbands round his neck, remade after the lightning strike to the best of his abilities, and his dagger wasn't leaving his side. He'd have brought his sword if he could have carried it, but the chair made that pretty much impossible. Tyr seemed satisfied, though, so it must have been okay.

While he was making his way to the Opera house, Banshee's bird friend screeched as he flew overhead, followed by Banshee himself. Jake grinned as he felt the Ikran's mind brush against his, and watched as the pair of them went on ahead. He would be a bit longer in getting there.

Neytiri had been surprised to see some of her Na'vi clothing fit to be worn by her tawtute body in the closet when they'd gone to get ready. She wasn't sure what animal the hides were taken from but they were soft and comfortable so she didn't mind. Her hair was done up with flowers braided through it and she had her beaded arm bands and a bone necklace. She carried no weapons, however. It didn't feel right.

Jason was feeling annoyed. Maybe if he was himself, it wouldn't have bothered him that he didn't get an answer when he asked what the meeting was about. He'd have just shrugged it off with a simple 'whatever' and skipped it. But ever since this God thing had started, he wasn't able to let anything go. He needed to know what it was about. And more importantly, he needed to see Lizzie. He missed her and hated that they fought, especially since it seemed like a repeat of their last big fight. His inner god was forcing him to make the same mistakes and he couldn't stop it. He simply hoped he'd get a chance to make her understand. He had even worn a suit simply because she once said she liked it. He stood close to the entrance, watching people walk inside as he waited for Lizzie.

Elizabeth had finally arrived after much deliberation. She had been very reluctant to come to this meeting, moreover, she didn't like being told what to do by someone she barely knew. Even it was her doppelgänger.

She had been able to do things she couldn't before and it was screwing with her mind. And she didn't have Jason there to talk to. So instead, Elizabeth kept it to herself.

Wearing a simple dress that hung just above her knees, Elizabeth approached the opera house. She cleared her throat and straightened up the moment she saw Jason at the entrance. "Hey." She half smiled.

Anastasia didn't know what this was about, not did Var. She was sick and tired of this and wanted this to end. She felt bad for Ty and what she did for him, but Var wasn't. Var felt as if he deserved it, no matter what kind of situation he was in, he still broke his vow and needed to suffer. Ana didn't know what to wear that would be considered a goddess outfit. So she researched and then found something and put it on.

Walking into the opera house, she found a seat. Putting a hand on her belly. Just a month and a half to go and she would be a mother. She couldn't believe it. But first, she needed to get through this situation.

Mac wasn't really sure what to wear so he went with his usual t-shirt and jeans. Though if he were honest, he didn't want to wear anything. Clothes still bothered him. He made his way up to the stage rather than taking a seat. He didn't much like sitting unless it was completely necessary. So he leaned against the stage and smiled at the young man sitting there.

"Hey." He nodded.

A lot had happened since the last time Hannibal had attended a gathering on the island. This seemed like a more urgent one though the aim of the meeting wasn't entirely clear. He was almost certain that the powers would not remain with them for much longer. The events on the island almost always were temporary. Perhaps that was why he took them in his stride. Nonetheless, curiosity had taken him away from his desk.

Hannibal walked through the doors of the opera house and took a look around, imagining what it would have been like in its prime.

The last few days for Sook had been horrid, but there was no way Sunna was going to let her get away with not going to this party thing. Lofn (she'd done her homework) compelled Gods to attend these meetings so it wasn't her fault. At least Sunna had somehow given Sookie a gorgeous pale golden yellow gown that shimmered and glittered with light that seemed to emanate from her pores.

The opera house was exactly as she thought it would look; ostensibly beautiful and then there was a buzzing in the back of her brain. Remembering her plan, she projected her thoughts at Hannibal.

Beautiful, isn't it?

Unlike everyone else, Applejack actually went hunting for her gown. She'd showered, and braided her hair. It was much longer than it had been when she'd first been made human. She felt accomplished as she walked down the aisle toward the center section of seating, in the gown she picked out all by herself. Except maybe with help from Idun. It felt like a gown she'd wear.

She felt pretty in it.

Marta loved her dress, and hoped it was going to stay when the current round of Island Interference was over. Plus Aaron seemed more than a bit taken with it as well.

She made her way down the aisle to sit not far from Jake and Neytiri - Jake looked like his head was on a swivel, he was trying to see everywhere and everyone at once, although he smiled and nodded when he spotted her - and sorted out her dress once she was comfortable.

John walked into the opera house, hands in trouser pockets. His brown-eyed gaze moved around the room, taking in each individual gathered there. This was wrong, so wrong. So, so, so wrong. On many levels. Not just because of the multiple co-inhabitation but also having so many of them in the same place. Both half-timelord and 'god' agreed on that. At least they were agreeing on something.

Shepard stepped out to the front of the stage, as it seemed as if everyone that was going to show up had. It wasn't just a gathering of Gods after all. Clearing her throat she spoke as loudly and concise as she could.

"I know most of you are resenting the fact that I called you here. Most it was because of the way I did it. But I had reason. I had hope, and enough fire in my belly to do something about it. And I was pretty sure if I said pretty please that I would get a whole lot of 'no thanks'." Her gaze turned to Anders. She began walking along the edge of the stage. "It came to my attention that some of the people who were struck, have been using the things they were gifted with against each other." She stopped again. Her eyes turned to Ty. "I know some of us don't see the things loaned to us by the beings that have... borrowed head space, as gifts. But to someone in this room, they could be."

Shepard paced back toward the middle of the stage. She stood with her hands clasped behind her. "We aren't gods. Most of us are humans, some are alien, some are... more than human. The one thing we have in common, is we're all people. Who you were before you got struck by lightning is what matters. If anything let this experience shape you into something -someone- better, don't let it make you into something worse. Someone you'd hate to see when you look in the mirror. Because I've seen that happen. Too many times than I'd like to count."
