Who: Bonnie and Espejo.
Where: The Seattle Door.
What: Exploring Seattle.
When: Saturday during the day, maybe also night time later in the scene.
Rating: TBD, but possibly swearing?
Open: Ask first, please.
Status: Ongoing.

Espejo had been exploring Seattle, taking in all the sites, sounds and experiences. It was all pretty mind blowing to him. He had never seen Seattle the way it looked through the door. He had gone through a few hours before and grabbed breakfast at a street food vendor, before looking around to see what he could find.

So far he had been past Cyberware shop, found a few cool places that sold interesting electronics, and visited a few music shops. He had managed to buy anything yet, save for the door, although it had been tempting to get an actual tattoo. Something that wasn't just part of his mutation. The thought of a tattoo that could light up fascinated him, as well as the idea of switching it off. The artist in the shop had admired his "ink" and told Espie that it was very "Old world, very old school of him". Espejo had just thanked him before leaving.

Feeling himself growing hungry again, he decided to make his way towards a noodle place he had spotted earlier. He was in the mood for flat rice noodles. Hopefully he'd be able to get them. With the chilli oil? The craving was real. Turning around another corner and narrowly avoiding running face first into an Ork, he spotted Bonnie and waved. He grinned from ear to ear, not really thinking that it might not even be her.

"Hey Bonnie!" he shouted, not really caring who turned to stare at him. "Over here!"

Espejo laughed. "Um I dunno about laser guns but there's some real futuristic looking stuff. I mean futuristic to me, at least. But nah, I haven't got anything yet but I was thinking about a light up tattoo maybe. Or just a cool piece of tech or something personally" he added, gesturing to himself with his free hand. "Wait, did you mean that? Could you teach me? I mean I know I can learn stuff from other people like me but I wasn't sure if it would work with different kinds of people, you know?" he added.

The two continued down the busy streets, Espejo sort of leading the way. He knew where he was going. He remembered the place and it was fairly easy to spot. Just ahead of them, on a corner was the place he was looking for. It looked fairly run of the mill, save for the planters outside, filled with all sorts of colourful plant life. Inside the building, there was a small koi pond that lit up. More plants filled the seated area of the restaurant. Some were in planters on the walls. Others were used to separate the restaurant from the bar area.

"What do you think?" Espejo asked as they walked in.

"Dang, I've always wanted a laser gun." She spoke in a jokingly solemn tone, knowing full well she herself was could 'pew, pew' lasers from her fingertips. "Well, Chaos did give us cards." She was sure someone from the Station would make them all Millionaires there in Seattle, but she kept that to herself.

"Yes! I can do my best to teach you... You're a Mimic, right? It shouldn't be too difficult." Bonnie pondered for a moment, but then got distracted by the Koi pond. Her features lit up, not with light, but genuine excitement! She let go of him and floated her way to the middle of it. The fish gathered round her as she twirled a bit. She got lost in herself, and it showed as her Light began to glow brightly through her body.

In the seconds it happened, she realized what she had done. She faded from view, but she didn't leave. Suddenly, Bonnie was near Espejo, invisible. "D-do you think anyone noticed? I'm so sorry!! I... I just got a little excited!"

A man standing behind the bar watched her float over the Koi pond and started to shout, "Hey, you can't do that!". Next thing he knew she wasn't there. Just Espejo looking back at him shrugging.

"You need to leave..." the man said. "You and wherever she went..." he said, sighing and getting back to work.
Espejo looked in the direction he though that Bonnie was in and pulled a face that said 'oops' in a joking way, before he walked outside again.

"Okay... we gotta find some place else. Maybe some place less fancy. That place was probably waaaay too fancy anyway" he said, hoping she had followed him outside. "Plus, we don't need them. We can have fun and eat somewhere else, right? Some place less stuffy"

When she reappeared beside Espejo, she was coated in Red. Bonnie did not like being spoken to that way. Not because she was Royalty but this business owner was prejudice!

Her colors shifted to more positive/neutral colors the moment he spoke, though. Odd, no one outside her Family had that kind of calming effect on her. "Yeah! We're too good for this place anyway! You don't even have Dragon Rolls!" Bonnie pulled down her bottom right eyelid with a middle finger as she stuck her tongue out at the man.

"Yeah. Fuck this, I'm sure there is another place for us Big Spenders!" She sounded a bit angry, but she meant it... She knew she had caused the scene, but that man's reaction was terrible. It made her a bit upset. Her eyes shifted to Espejo slightly... "I'm totally going to make Dean run amok in there..." She gave him a soft giggle before wrapping her arms around his again. "Dragon Rolls, and awesome Ramen?"

Espejo was a bit surprised to see Bonnie lit up red like that. He was glad when she shifted into more neutral colours and relaxed again. He tussled his hair briefly, smoothing it down and moving it out of his face. Not that it would stay that way for long.

He wrapped his arms around her in return and smiled brightly. "Yup! We're going to get them eventually, I'm tellin' ya. With our positive energy combined, we can do anything, right? Find whatever we're looking for" he said with all the enthusiasm of a hype man.

The streets down either side were full of different sorts of places to eat, including street food vendors and small clearly locally owned places. Some looked fancy, others looked more touristy, while a few more discrete places sold the cheaper food.

"Want me to the lead the way or would you like to?" he asked her.

She gasped a little when she noticed his reaction to her being all Red. Bonnie didn't want to scare him, but she was relieved when he really didn't seem to mind, just startled.

One thing she did not enjoy was xenophobes! Her people were always accepting of others.

His reaction to it all made her smile a bit, and fill herself with more positive light. She totally forgot that she was supposed to look 'human,' but at this point she didn't care.

"Yes! With our positive power combined, we can do anything!" She followed him, arm.in arm, sure she was being flirty with him, how could she not? But, Bonnie also simply enjoyed his company. He reminded her of Blank, before... Shaking that thought off his pondered.

"Well, I already hyped myself up for Dragon Rolls, know of any other good Japanese places?" Bonnie asked sweetly, maybe she should have consulted Chaos about this, this was his turf after all. But, it was fun to explore with good company. "And I am still going to get Dean rip-roaringly drunk and send him in that place.." A tease... Maybe. Bonnie looked down one side of the street to the other. "Speaking of, after we eat, we drink, hm?"

Espie blended in with the crowds a little bit more, although some of the street kids might have considered his clothing to be old fashioned by their standards. He wore a tie die pink and white hoodie with a black flower print in the middle of it, and white t shirt underneath, and a pair of ripped faded blue jeans with light blue converse shoes. His hair was as fluffy as always, combed to the side to show off his undercut.

"I think I saw something. Like one of those places where you just sit at a stool at the actual... stall, booth... thingy" he said, trying his best to explain himself. "I think they do sushi?" he questioned. Not that he expected an answer. It was more for himself. "Yeah, I think so" he nodded. "This way" he grinned, before he started to move quicker, his arm slipping out of hers, but hand reaching out to take hers, if she accepted it. He flashed her a big playful smile.

She giggled near silently when she noticed the younger kinds, she recognized the looks on their faces. He was old fashioned for them! Bonnie didn't care, it took attention off of her, and he looked quite handsome in his outfit! Especially his hair, she wanted to play with his hair so badly. In a friendly way.

"Awesome!" Bonnie paused for a moment when he let go, thinking his had done something wrong. Her colors shifted to a mixture that would look like a Darker Purple to most. But, then he flashed that smile while holding out his hand. Bonnie smiled back, rabbing on to it, her colors became a bit more bright, with Blue, Violet, and Green taking over. "Let's goooo!" She nearly squealed in excitement while he lead the way.

Espie kept a good hold off her hand, looking ahead of himself so he could at least see where he was going. He moved between the crowds, keeping an eye out for Bonnie and making sure she was always behind him and never out of sight for long. He ran until they came to the end of the busy street and between them and the other side, was a busy road, filled with impatient travellers caught up in traffic.

"Hold on tight!" he yelled, and in the blink of an eye, he teleported them across a busy street onto the other side. He looked to her, hoping he hadn't shocked or annoyed her with their sudden shift through space.

"There! That's the one!" he shouted, pointing with his free hand. "Come on!" he smiled to her before leading her over to the sushi and noodle bar

Bonnie took a tight hold of his hand in return, though she hadn't expected him to start running! She began to float as he lead to the way, that what was she wanted over all.

"Okay!" She agreed, but it was too late for that now, wasn't it?! Bonnie wouldn't lie and say she didn't enjoy this. Either way, Espejo was going to be her friend.. A member of her family, if he liked it or not. Her 'Dad' would the biggest judge, but she was sure he would accept the young man. Especially with 'Mom' here now.

No, he hadn't shocked her. She could teleport herself after all. Though, his way was a bit different.

In the stall Espejo pointed out with certainy, the owner behind the counter smiled at them. "Come in, come in!" If their excitement allow they would notice there was someone sitting on their furthest right side. Bonnie was wary, the stranger was in a black hoodie.. It.. It hid his colors. That worried her, and it was visible not only her face, but her colors as well. "Espejo.. M-maybe not here..."

When Bonnie spoke that, the person in the hood perked up and turned his head slowly toward them. In a slow, yet swift motion he pulled his hood back; revealing himself to be Reeve Adler.

"Aunt Bonnie?! Espie!?" He greeted them with a massive smile.

Espejo smiled as he walked over towards the stall. He paused when Bonnie hesitated, and with a concerned expression, he looked where she had been. Someone dressed all in black. But something about him was familiar. Maybe? He tilted his head to the side a little just as the figure looked at them and pulled back his hood.

"Reeve!" he exclaimed happily, moving over to give him a big welcoming hug. "What are you doing here?!" he asked, finally moving back. "Are you exploring too? We came to get some food. Bonnie wants Dragon Rolls and I want some rice noodles" he said enthusiastically, turning to look at Bonnie. "It was Dragon Rolls, right?" he asked.

"What would you like to order?" the owner asked them.

Reeve had noticed his Aunt's weariness when she saw him, colorless. He would explain to her why he was like that soon enough.

That thought was interrupted, though. He gave a joyous brotherly hug to Espie
His new found friend! "Yeah, I'm exploring! Not much else to do! And yes, Aunt Bonnie, they have Dragon Rolls!" Though, he didn't order them, himself, he did notice them on the menu. "And some really great noodles!" Reeve smiled to them both, "Come sit down!"

"Yes!" Bonnie exclaimed as blue and green shifted through out her body, when they were done with their hug, she swooped in and did the same. "Good to see you, young Mr. Adler." She teased while taking the seat next to him, her eyes moved towards the patron and with a big wide grin on her face she ordered. "Two Dragon Rolls, please!"

Espejo grabbed a seat and replied, "Stir Fried Ho Fan?". The chef nodded at both Bonnie and Espejo and went to work, preparing their dishes.

It was only then that Espie realised that the chef was a large hulking troll. The chef stood behind the counter, a hulk of muscles with two large horns on his head, and prominent lower canines, wearing a apron and a lopsided chefs hat. Espie did his best not to stare so turned to his two companions in the hopes of distraction.

"We were kinda exploring too" Espie replied to Reeve. "We ran into each other not that long ago and figured we should try and get a bite to eat before we explore more" he said, making sure to try and evenly put his focus between Bonnie and Reeve.

A moment later and the chef placed Bonnie's Dragon Rolls down in front of her. They looked so delicate compared to the chefs large hands, and they had been lovingly prepared with a small paper flower beside them.

Bonnie simply, and literally gleamed in delight at getting her Dragon Rolls, squealing softly to herself. The Troll Chef was a master at his craft! This might be the best preparation she had ever seen... And she was a Queen!

Reeve couldn't help but snort out a small chuckle at his Aunt's reaction. Leaning a little forward to look at Espejo, with a smile. "Cool! Do you guys want to explore a bit as a group? If not, it's totally cool! I can grab one of those glowing tattoos."

"And piss your mom off, royally." Bonnie spoke with a smirk on her face as she got half way through her first plate of the rolls. She looked between the two, offering them both a smile. "I'm okay with it if you are, Espejo?"

Espejo didn't need to look to know that the chef had already started to prepare his meal. He could smell it. That scent caught his attention and his stomach started to rumble. A slight blush hit his cheeks when he realised everyone could probably hear it. He smiled bashfully and looked between Bonnie and Reeve while they chatted.

"A tattoo sounds pretty cool! I was kinda tempted to get that too but I wasn't sure" he shrugged. "But I'd be down for the three of us hanging out and exploring, for sure!" he said with an enthused nod.

Next thing he knew, a fresh bowl of noodles was being placed down in front of him. His eyes lit up when he saw them and he looked up at the chef. "Thank you so much, this looks amazing!" he said, before picking up his chopsticks and starting to eat. The sooner he could get his stomach to stop growling, the better.

"So have either of you had a tattoo before?" he asked. "I haven't" he added casually, before devouring another mouthful of sauce covered noodles.

The main reason Bonnie nor Reeve hadn't really reacted to the owner/chef of this place was.. Well, they were used to it. In their world, this was normal. Well, for Bonnie at least! Reeve had only been there a handful of times.

"Here!" Bonnie put the last four pieces of her first Roll on to two plates, two for each of them. She turned to the chef, and bowed slightly, then spoke a language that seemed to be a mix of Ork and Japanese, the chef understood and bowed back.

Then, as Espejo spoke about the tattoos, they both looked over at him, then to each other, followed by looking at him when he mentioned not having any tattoos. He was... Covered in them.

"You mean, the glowing types of tattoos, right?" Reeve asked before he began to roll a bit of his undisclosed chuncky noodles into his spoon full. Taking a set of chop sticks he calmely placed one of the rolls on top the of spoonful. Reeve then proceeded to do the same as his frizzy haired friend, and devoured it all. Bonnie simply held back her laugh before she grabbed another piece.

"As for me, no. I know I was joking about it earlier, but I can't get tattoos. No skin." Bonnie held out arm, rotating it back and forth. "But, I can make one appear." Suddenly the light on her arm formed into a classic Chinese dragon, that sprouted out trees. After a moment she returned to her normal colors.

"Yeah... sure" Espejo replied when asked if he meant the glowing type of tattoos. He hadn't explained his tattoos to either of them, it seemed. Most people assumed his ink was just normal and that was absolutely fair. He had always wanted to get normal tattoos but he hadn't seen much point in it when he already had so much artwork on his body thanks to his mutant abilities.

Espie watched the two of them interacting. He smiled, covering his mouth with the back of his hand when Reeve ate probably a bit more than he should have. His attention was brought to Bonnie when she made an image of a Chinese dragon on her arm.

"That is so cool!" Espejo exclaimed. "Um so I should explain. My tattoos aren't really normal tattoos. They're all kinda connected to what I can do. When I learn a new power, a new tattoo appears on my skin. A lot of the tattoos are connected. Like, the stronger connection I have, more of them kinda seem to show up" he explained. "So I've never had a normal tattoo. I didn't see the point. Figured it might end up covered up by a new power" he shrugged, before eating another mouthful of noodles.

"So, should we get fancy tattoos?" he asked, giving Reeve a playful nudge.
