"Yeah... sure" Espejo replied when asked if he meant the glowing type of tattoos. He hadn't explained his tattoos to either of them, it seemed. Most people assumed his ink was just normal and that was absolutely fair. He had always wanted to get normal tattoos but he hadn't seen much point in it when he already had so much artwork on his body thanks to his mutant abilities.
Espie watched the two of them interacting. He smiled, covering his mouth with the back of his hand when Reeve ate probably a bit more than he should have. His attention was brought to Bonnie when she made an image of a Chinese dragon on her arm.
"That is so cool!" Espejo exclaimed. "Um so I should explain. My tattoos aren't really normal tattoos. They're all kinda connected to what I can do. When I learn a new power, a new tattoo appears on my skin. A lot of the tattoos are connected. Like, the stronger connection I have, more of them kinda seem to show up" he explained. "So I've never had a normal tattoo. I didn't see the point. Figured it might end up covered up by a new power" he shrugged, before eating another mouthful of noodles.
"So, should we get fancy tattoos?" he asked, giving Reeve a playful nudge.
