There were a large number of tubs of icecream put out on just about every flat surface available with a spell to keep them cold. Coffee and tea ready and remaining warm. Cold drinks stuffed in the fridge. Onesies sorted by size at the door, for people who didn't have one.

Rachel reached up and stroked his hair, just holding him. She wanted to tell him it would be okay but she didn't think he wanted to hear that just then so she just held him and let him cry. "I love you."
