There were a large number of tubs of icecream put out on just about every flat surface available with a spell to keep them cold. Coffee and tea ready and remaining warm. Cold drinks stuffed in the fridge. Onesies sorted by size at the door, for people who didn't have one.

	Sarah stopped the ice cream stirring all together and she turned into the draped arm and wrapped both of her's around her sisters middle. She squeezed. And a soft little sob escaped her. "Hi." She muffled her voice against Rachel's shoulder. "It's so hard without sciencing it. I could at least be a zombie for a few weeks when I scienced it." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Rachel wrapped her other arm around Sarah and just held onto her. "I know. Science is a pretty great distraction." She rubbed Sarah's back and tried to sooth her a bit. She wasn't good at science but she was good with nature. "We can get through this, though. We're not alone." It didn't sound the most reassuring to her for some reason. "It's just me, you, Tommy and Sookie now." Though the room was did have quite a few adopted Sullys. And then there was the third generation. Her eyes lit on her, and Shepard's babies. Mouse not but a few feet from them as they played. They moved on to Bobby. On the floor against the wall beside Shepard.

Then there were the extended family. She was sure she could count Miguel as one of those. Her gaze found him on the arm of the couch. "We got to hold the ones we have left close."

	Rachel nodded in agreement. She hadn't even realized it was just the four of them of their generation. Rachel's eyes tracked to Bobby who she was pretty sure was going to get very tired of her before long. "Maybe family dinner more often than once a qeek." She nodded. "With everybody invited." 	Sarah slowly pulled back and gave a solid nod. "We can do it potluck style. Everyone bring something, so just one person wont be responsible for feeding all of us. 	"Yeah that sounds good. Very doable." They were just here last night. She glanced at the table, they were all sitting around it for the weekly meal. Now it felt like ages ago.
