We emote all the time without using words. Emotes and emoticons are a great way to do just that but via a text based visual medium rather than a visual visual one. It lets you express yourself when you can't be face to face with someone.

It wasn't directly directed at you, but it was passively directed at you - in that you were meant to see it, as an example of what Peter was talking about. And it was also meant for Peter as a way of saying "high-five for knowing something the genius doesn't know". We have to take our small victories. Though Peter's a genius too, isn't he? So I just have to take my small victories.

There seem to be a lot of geniuses around here. Which is why I have to continue flaunting what I am smart at or my imposter syndrome will grow to the size of Godzilla and start smashing buildings.
