It's really hard not to feel homesick, Thanksgiving is okay, not really my idea of a holiday, but it'll be weird to celebrate Christmas without my family.

Hi! I know we don't really know each other, but I wanted to ask you about your company. I'm no where near the genius level like you and your friends, but I do have an interest in Engineering and Physics. I was wondering if there was an internship program or position available so I can learn more. School is great and all, but I like being in an hands-on environment.

I'm sorry, sweetpea, I know it's hard. Why don't we get the flat all spruced up for Christmas? We'll do it top to bottom in holly and garland and all that other ridiculous stuff.

That'd be great!

At least spending Christmas with you and the Doctor is something I did a lot back home, so that hasn't changed! Is that weird to say?

Ooh, does that mean you got to see a Christmas tree nearly kill Mum and Mickey and me? Because that was not my most shining moment. Oh no, and the Sycorax? Can we ignore that whole speech? Was that a thing they showed??

I promise no killer Christmas trees in the flat!
