I've seen a lot of weird things recently, so I can't say I'd be entirely surprised if there were.

It's hotly debated on Corellia. Basically the planetary pastime. Some say seven, some say seventy-seven, but I've always preferred seven-hundred, myself. It leaves a lot of room for ending up in one that isn't that terrible.

I bet I know of a handful and they do seem to differ, so hanging on to the seven-hundred theory isn't a bad idea. Maybe you'll just get one where the only show you can watch are reruns of Growing Pains.

Growing Pains? I haven't heard of that one. I assume that's something specific from this planet? Or the planet this one is modeled after?

The priests on Correlia allege that Lady Luck has her own afterlife too, where people are blessed with all the fortune they wished for in life, but I never figured she liked me well enough to end up in that one. It'd be nice but the irony is that the only luck I ever wished for is to be not dead.

Yeah, it's one of those shows that has a standard family that learns life lessons every week. It's mundane, saccharine, kind of preachy, and dated. I could see it being used as a torture device.

That sounds like a nice one. Almost as nice as- I like to think that as long as you aren't actually evil, you end up somewhere decent.

Shit. That does sound like torture. We've got a couple of those too, but they're mostly local to their planets of origin. None of which I stay at long enough to get bored enough to watch those kinds of holos.

That's a good thought. I'd like to think so too.

Ours would usually be local to country or something, but it's sounds like standard practice anywhere. Show what you know or something. I guess the entertainment industry is just as unoriginal everywhere it exists.

Here's to nice nice thoughts about the afterlife, even if it's kind of bordering the morbid side of things.

Makes sense. This system hasn't settled as many planets as we have so it stands to reason that things would be more local.

Nah, not morbid at all. It can be a comforting thought, I think.

Comforting is nice. I think we all need that at times.

Sure do. Especially when it looks like we're all stuck in an unfamiliar place.
