I've never seen New York look so... together.

I'm far more familiar with a dystopian ruined version of it.

Everything is so much brighter here.

That and I'm usually more comfortable in trees or just heights in general.

It definitely smells better as well.

You'll probably like the garden on the roof. There's no trees up there, but lots of green and it's pretty high up.

I take it dystopia smells worse than the worst cities?

There's a garden on the roof?

Yep, exactly that.

Yeah, there's a few green thumbs around here, they made it look real nice. Sometimes we have like garden parties and movie nights up there too.

I’m not familiar with garden parties or movie nights. What do they involve?

Mostly just hanging out in that area, you know? The parties are usually like light food and drink, some music and chatting. Usually it's like for an event or something.

Movie nights they just put a movie on and we all sit with snacks and watch as a group.

They sound fun. I take it there's no killer robots here that means you can't do that on a regular basis?

No. I mean, there was one a while ago, but he was killed, so that's good. We don't have a lot of interruptions.

That’s vastly different from the world I come from then.

I um. I just saw.

Yeah, this place is gonna be a huge difference.

I'm Nate. Welcome to Goodland.

So I've been told.

I mean it's a lot but in a good way, it's nice to be somewhere this alive.

Nice to meet you, Nate. I'm Azari.

I'm always amazed the garden isn't more crowded than it is.

Always feels crowded enough.

I'm not sure if I've ever been completely alone up there, but one or two others isn't a bad number. I'm glad for the forest though.
