Alright, here's the deal with that clown fuckerthing.

We always called it It, because we were not creative children. We don't know really what It is. Just that it's been around since before humans and probably would have been around after, if we hadn't killed it.

It's powerful as hell. It can look and sound like anything it wants, it can make people see or not see whatever it wants. It targets children most because it feeds on them, but it will kill adults or make children kill adults if they're getting in Its way too much.

It can read your mind. We don't know exactly the extent, but it knows what you're afraid of, even if you've never said it out loud. Sometimes even before you know you're afraid of it. It gets stronger when you're afraid so it will try to scare you.And it's not just 'I'm afraid of werewolves'. This thing will manipulate emotional fears too, things like losing people you love, guilt over things that you've done or haven't done, secrets you don't want to get out.

It can also manipulate your perception. It does this more to adults than kids. It makes them...apathetic. They won't notice things they should, will ignore things that should be concerning.

You can usually recognize it because it sometimes doesn't take a perfect form. Whatever it looks like will still have yellow eyes or orange pom pom buttons or messed up teeth or something. And red balloons, it'll use them to try and lure people or tease people or float away on them. And it likes to sing because it's annoying as hell.

The only things we know about getting the better of it:

-It's held to the lore of whatever it looks like. If it looks like a werewolf, silver will hurt it. If it looks like a vampire, sun will hurt it. It won't die, but it'll make it run until it can recover and change it's form.

-Fear makes it stronger, but it gets weaker if you're not afraid of it. If you stand up to it you can make it smaller, weaker.

-It takes a group of people to kill it. I don't know if it's any group or it was something specific about us, but we all had to be there. And it tried very hard to split us up.

-It dies if you crush Its heart. We don't know if this is the only way, but it's what we did last time. We had to stand up to it, make it feel small so it got small, then we pulled it's heart out and crushed it.
