I know Natasha is your best friend, but she's also my mom where I'm from, and she's dead. So's my dad, you know, the guy who was Captain America, but your son, who's my best friend, he's alive. He's kind of an asshole, but he's good with a bow and staves and it's the apocalypse, and I'm not gonna blame you, and I'm not gonna blame him. It's just the way you guys are made, but he's a lot like you. Rather greet me with a punch than a hug. But Tony, he raised me, and I faced Ultron to get him back, so I'm only a little scared of you right now.

Don't yell at Tony. Don't trivialize. Where I'm from, everybody's lost somebody, and everybody hangs on to something or someone and that's what united people when they were fighting and surviving. And I am really, really sorry about your wife and your kids, and I don't know how anyone survives past that, but Tony apparently? went through the same shit, just like everyone else and I just got here, and I don't hold a candle against him, but I also know that Peter, the other kid, is important to him. He got Peter, you got mom, everybody got somebody, and people are probably gonna get more. Seems to be how this place works.

Also, I'm not a fucking kid, and I promised myself I wasn't gonna do dad's goddamn fucking speeches, but here the fuck we are. First time for everything, but you're an Avenger.
