I would have preferred if you had made sure I was okay. If things were different and you had been turned into a kid or a teenager, I would have checked up on you. I wouldn't have left 10 year old you in the care of a teenager. And I get that you probably didn't have it in you to take on a kid, I understand that and I don't blame you for it, but it still hurts that at the very least my safety wasn't even an afterthought.

You are right. I should have done better.

When you were little, I checked on you, and you said you were with Sam. I didn't realize at the time that he was a teenager. Then you became a teenager and I should have checked on you, but I didn't. Given our relationship I thought it would be awkward... even though you didn't know. That was my fault.

I'm sorry. Your safety is always a concern of mine.
