I had plans. Breakfast. The Getty. People watching at The Grove. Maybe starting on that essay for my sociology class.

Being kidnapped to Not New York was definitely NOT a part of my plan for the day.

Also, didn't miss New York weather. Please send me back to LA now, thanks.

I don't know for sure, but I don't think this is how this place works. Lots of people have wanted to go back but not many have gotten to based on that alone. Might as well get some breakfast and get comfortable while you wait. At least the bagels are good here.

That may be true, but this is actually an alternate dimension. The multiverse is more than a theory, and you've been here for months. So have I. Last week you were a senior in high school. Now you're in college, but I'm still a junior in high school. It's also why Tony Stark's here. This place is a whole new level of weird, and some people just got swept up in the latest wave of it. You're one of those people. I'm sorry.
