I will not lower myself to accept something you value so little, Entity. I may be of Asgardian blood, but I am more familiar with gentrification than you might suppose and quite capable of dealing with someone who takes pride in what they have to offer.

This place... might seem confusing at first. There are many people here who are pulled from entirely different universes. In one of those Universes, not my own, I have a daughter here name Torunn. She is the third Asgardian here, though I hope for more soon.

The last I saw Hela she was in chains at my feet. Though I hear Balder has finally given back the crown I took from her.

This is unexpected.

I am Angela, also known as Aldrif Odinsdottir, the firstborn of the royal house of Asgard, raised as a daughter of Heven which was sundered from Yggdrasil by our father in revenge for my seeming death as an infant. Few remembered it, and the stories that remained became... inaccurate.

I am sorry I do not know you Aldrif (or do you prefer Angela?). Loki and I only learned of Hela's existence a few months ago. Father had her locked away and we only learned of her after his death.

It seems he is a master of keeping secrets.

I am accustomed to Angela. I'm unaware of Hela's existence ever being a secret, but I understand she is quite familiar with being locked up on occasion when her ambitions outreach her abilities.

Our relationship isn't a close one, but I believe in this case he mourned. I know something of that.

Things happen differently in many of the universes apparently. As far as I am aware, Odin has only sired three children. In my world, Asgard ceases to exist, and the remaining Asgardians (of which there are regrettably few) reside on Midgard.

In another Universe, Asgard exists, and I have a daughter named Torunn with a childhood friend.

And yet still, in your universe apparently, there are ten realms and you are my sister.

Regardless of Universe, we share the same blood, and I would be happy to meet you, Sister.

That seems to be the nature of universes. We have many siblings through Odin, but few through our mother. They've recently had another daughter, Laussa. I'm not completely clear where Hela fits.

From what I am to understand, Hela is the oldest of Odin's children, the first born and true heir of Asgard. But she grew to violent. To uncontrollable and so she was locked away.

I was born to Odin and Frigga sometime later. Loki was thought to be too, but we found out some years later that he was actually a Jotun that father kidnapped as a child from the king to ensure peace between them.


Yes, I live here. It is the only place we are allowed to live, I believe.

I'd like to think she's been cowed by the loss of her throne, however temporary, but the ambitious rarely give up.

Kidnap does not seem like it would inspire peace.

Keeping it secret sounds like it would be an obstacle to swaying sympathies as well.

Yes. They were the first people I met when I arrived in Midgard. I travel with them on occasion.
