To whoever is behind this, I swear to God that if this has anything to do with Brandon James, I will end you.

I've never played a video game. My favorite movie is the Rocky Horror Picture Show. One of my favorite classes was any type of math class. I'm curious about your barista skills now. I have a tattoo of an umbrella in a circle on my left forearm. I'm also a Libra if you're into that. I could take it or leave it, but I won't put someone down for their beliefs.

They're good escapist fun, but the most I really do is playing Pokémon Go on my phone. Why math? I'm not really into Astrology, but I still generally check my horoscope.

What's Pokémon Go? Math is a puzzle to solve, a mystery to uncover, a language to learn. It's simple and complex and elegant and messy, and, sometimes, it's all of that at once. It's interconnected with man and nature, a way to explain each other. The Fibonacci sequence is naturally occurring (the Golden Ratio in shells being an example) but people came up with it, people in different parts of the world in two different time periods. It can connect people who don't speak the same language but they know math, and they can form a bond that way. It can connect the past with the present and the present with the future. And there's so much more to it, but this is the part where eyes are glazed, so I'll spare you the rest. Why psychology? Has your horoscope ever been eerily accurate or mostly just amusing?

It's a mobile app, you can find it in the Apple Store. Or the Google Play store, I guess. It's to encourage people to walk more and spend time outside, because you use it to find and "collect" pokémon, cute little creatures in the game. And you actually make math sound amazing, my eyes aren't glazing at all! I...want to understand why people do the things they do. What motivates them, what changes them. It's usually just weird and not accurate at all.

It sounds interesting. Maybe I'll look into it. I already enjoy walking. I'm glad to know I didn't cause your eyes to glaze over. Is it more curiosity, or do you think psychology might be something you want to pursue outside of academics? I've yet to find a horoscope that's particularly accurate as well.

If you do, add me? I'm notagainpetunias. It's something I've been thinking about majoring in when I got to college. I've been through a lot and I was in therapy at home, so I think I could maybe be good at it some day?

If and when I figure it out, I will. I can't say I've got a lot of experience with therapy or therapists, but it seems like something that could require a lot of understanding and empathy. It sounds like you might have it.

I can help you with it, if you want. Thanks, I think I do.
