Dungeons and Dragons tonight, dinner will be pizza. Nothing fancy, but you'll be fed.

It's really better to just do it, I mean you can? But sometimes it just look stupid to someone watching and they can't connect why people would enjoy it.

A little bit. Ah yes, chess. My mentors always used to try to make me enjoy chess. I'd enjoy winning, but the game itself never pulled me in. Always felt like punishment. I haven't played checkers since I was like six maybe?

That's true. But I feel like I could let myself be convinced to try it. By the right person.

I'm not sure that it wasn't punishment, but Bruce used it for training. You've got to learn how to anticipate your opponent's movements and all that. And not every fight is a physical fight. Some of them are mental ones.

I think we can arrange this. ;)

Was that guy actually your father? He sounds more like a dictator.

It's gonna get weird. I can feel it already.

Bruce? No. My parents died when I was 10. I was in an orphanage for a minute but then Bruce took me in. He didn't even adopt me formally until a couple years ago. But taking in random kids and training them to be super sidekicks is kinda what he does.

Probably but you'll like it.

That sounds complicated. And a little sketchy, no offense.

We'll see about that. ;)

And absolutely no offense taken. It's pretty sketchy. Just takes some of us longer to figure it out than others. Even with most of the Justice League pointing it out on the regular. When Superman doesn't like you, you've got it pretty bad.

I can be petty convincing.

Little bit, from what I can tell the dude likes everything. Though I've only met him once or twice.
