what could they possibly want from us? they don't have anything to gain by being nice to us.

we make this place feel a little more like home. i'm thinking of tagging a few places. you could scrawl your we ride with the tide bit across a wall or two. i might even be able to think up a long live evil thing for you, too.

yeah, okay but they don't know that! and it's not like i go around burning villages to the ground. i mean, maybe you're right, though. auradon has messed with my trust issues way too much, i actually give people the benefit of the doubt now. can you believe that?

yeah, it's being engaged that changed everything. you totally had a shot before that. and i think ben might disagree about the fun part.

i can't believe i said them. don't get me wrong, i'm not letting these people into my life or spilling any huge secrets to them. i just...don't think they're that bad. i know bad and they aren't it. yeah, i did. i thought i was doing the right thing. doing what i was supposed to be doing. but i was wrong. the whole idea was wrong and unfair and it made me no better than anyone else in auradon that wanted the barrier in the first place.
