It's kind of weird, though, too. Celebrating things here. Very weird Kind of sad

It's not the company. The company's great! Something's missing

The last big Thanksgiving dinner I had seems like ages ago. Decades. Centuries. (Cue the most epic Kate Bishop Trademarked dramatic music here, okay?)

Definitely in Los Angeles with the other WCA members. After another second-rate super villain wanted to weaponize yams. Those are sweet potatoes for those not in the know.

...They are, right? They're not different? OMG don't tell me if they are, okay? It takes away from my "Back in My Day" novella.

I've watched the Thanksgiving Day Parade from so many different places. Seen the tree lighting in Rockefeller. Gone ice skating mostly on my butt. You walk around the city now, though, and there's a layer of something missing. A distinct lack of gross hot dog water, bitter sidewalk coffee, and hundreds of expensive perfumes spilling out of the department stores.

Now, all I want is a pretzel from the carts that littered the corners of Midtown followed by tacos from the taco truck in Santa Monica.

Gonna take Lucky for a walk and pin down a peppermint mocha instead. 💜
