It feels strange. There are so many people here, but they're carrying their own belongings and working construction too. It's not the world I left but it means I'm free.

I've been the one with the mop too. It was a good life. In some ways I miss it but I didn't have a choice.

Actually, this world might be a good fit. Still to be determined.

Liberty Island is where the Statue of Liberty is. Ellis Island is where the immigration inspection station was and the hospital.

Fickle, yes. Also hostile and aggressive. This world is unlike anything I've seen before.

Where do you come from? I mean, it sounds as thought you'be been through similar things. What's your world like?

We all have empathy and can relate to each other's experiences. I consider that a bonus. It wasn't always that way in my world.

Sometimes freedom comes from within. You could say that we're all trapped on Earth, in our own world - though I suppose that's assuming you come from a world without space travel. All worlds have limits.

Just being, I suppose. To be honest I was most concerned with getting freedom for my people than imagining what it might be like once we won.
