The first time they’d been together had been an incredible passionate release, but a mistake. They had fallen in love, a werewolf and a Death Eater; a huge miscalculation. Together they’d fought with the Ministry to allow their marriage, obviously a colossal blunder. They’d used the latest technology to start their family, Severus vomited for months; it could only be a lapse of titanic proportions.
Their sons slept peacefully, and Remus’ arms wrapped more tightly around him.
“You all right, love?” Remus croaked sleepily.
“Recalling my missteps.”
“Hmmm.” Remus snuggled closer.
Perhaps his definition of mistake needed to be changed.
