I'm so pleased that this is posted as part of the regular Games! One of the best things about this story for me, through the process, was realizing that I could trust you as an author to tie it all together and make it work. I'm going to take the next day or so and reread it, as it's been a while since I last did. There are so many things I want to say about what you've done here, so I'll be back!

Woot!!! Yaaaaayyyyy!!! I'm so glad that this is part of the Games!!! Squeeeeee!!! I can't contain my excitement and happiness for you *glomps you* :DDDDD

I'm going to have to sit and read this all the way through in one sitting, instead of reading while I beta-ed in segments, lol. It was wonderful reading part by part, but I know it'll make a fantastic read as a whole unit.

You already know how much I love this story. I've already told you it's by favorite after your "Bunny Harry" stories. I love Anachronism to pieces *hugs* :DDDD

It's 530 in the morning, I have not had more than three hours of sleep for the past three days and I took two sleeping pills an hour ago.

Yet somehow I managed to finish this.

Also, I think I'm a bit crushed. I feel a bit like I did after reading IYAP, only without the total soul crushing.

The pills may have made me a bit incoherent, so I'll review again later. I guess the point of this review is to say that this story is stronger than the human desire/need for sleep.

Damn you. But in a good way.

Yay! Here it is, glad you made it into the Games (even if on the Dark Side!) I enjoyed it very much indeed while Brit-picking (not that it needed much doing to it) but now I can read it properly without worrying about making notes. I love your Severus, he is so in character, and I love long plotty fics with slowly evolving relationships.

*goes off to re-read*

I so much wanted to see this in the Games because I was sure you'd get our team lots of votes with it...Now I guess you'll get that 'other' team lots of votes with it, but as far as I'm concerned, you're still a 'Snitch' ;-)

What a great story this is too. It made me so sad yet has such a happy ending. I love 'mysteries' and this one was crafted so believably. And I cried too, which happens but not often (well, it seems it's happening quite a bit during this year's Games).

So many great stories here in the Games, but this has to be one of my top five favorites - it's impossible to pick just one!

I should really be getting ready for our family holiday tomorrow, but your story has sucked me in - I have to keep reading now! I'll be back with a further commment when I've finished reading it, but I just wanted to thank you so much for giving this epic, plotty fic to the Cauldrons; I'm sure your Severus would approve, heh.

I, too, am chiming in on how much I enjoyed reading this fic when you posted it to the team comm (back when you were a Snitch, heh). You took what we know as "canon" and hid it inside Snape's mind, mixing it with confusion and bewilderment as Severus tried to figure out what the heck is going on. Then you showed a different universe in which Harry and Severus could be happy together -- so foreign and yet familiar, in some ways. And you wrapped it all around with plot... plot! An intriguing mystery of what really happened that kept me enrapt until the end.

Very well done!

I think this is an astounding work, I cannot even imagine the time and work that must have gone into creating it. The intricacies of the plot were so creative and unique. I enjoyed all the characters and the evolution of the relationship between Harry and Severus. Reading through the other comments it seems most have read this fic before in some incarnation, this was my first time and I wanted to let you know that I think it is an incredible piece of writing.

Wow. This was SOOOOO awesome! Just when I thought I'd figured out what was going on, you'd take it in a different direction, and it ended up being far more satisfying than any of my conjectures. I loved this idea! It was a way to have the whole universe (universes) of HP make sense and be totally satisfying. I'm also a sucker for The Little Prince, so thank you for your wonderful tying in of that story. I loved that I couldn't figure out why Harry was so good at potions, or why Severus just couldn't seem to remember anything, or why so many little things were different for this Severus from Harry's memories of Severus. I can't belive how many hours I just spent reading this straight through!

Great job, totally compelling and addictive, and one of the very best stories in Snarry Games history.

Wow...just wow! Amazing work. A wonderful and intense plot. I really loved it when everything came together toward the end. Physics (especially astrophysics, quantum mechanics isn't as much a favorite, but still fun) is a hobby of mine, so I greatly enjoyed that whole section. I love the intensity of Harry's emotions. I also like the differences between his Severus and the one who replaced him (since the 'new' Severus was from the books, I'm assuming, I guess we can call him our Severus, lol). Really, really magnificent and powerful.~Sophia

Amazing. This story is fabulous. It's so intricate and creative. Even though it's almost 100k words, I couldn't stop reading it. I was entranced from beginning to end.

First, I have to say that you are an amazing storyteller. Every time I thought I know what was happening, you'd add in another complication. Like when Severus figured out that he Endell had the same condition, I thought that was it, but there was so much more afterward.

Second, I love how the portraits were accessory characters to this complex tale. Paracelsus is hilarious, especially when he was whining about the lack of bosoms in the household. I love Phineas as well, with his subtle manipulations of both Severus and Harry.

Third, I love the French and the bits and pieces of The Little Prince that you worked into the story. I was wondering why Harry insisted on having dinner and 2 hours together each day because it sounded familiar. It all made sense later.

Finally, I just have to say that you're incredibly talented to be able to write such a complex, engaging tale and weave it all together. Not once did anything feel out of place, or even extraneous (and I think that's an accomplishment considering the length of the story). Even with how long the story was, I still wanted more. I loved the happy ending, especially since for a while, I was worried that it wouldn't come.

I'm so happy you're part of our team. We're so awesome, but I have to give credit to the Snitches as well for guiding you through such an amazing journey. Well done, teammate!

This was absolutely gripping -not easy to read at times, but very well written and oh so beautifully intricate. The idea of Harry's old Severus labouring to put things right again while he knows he's dying is too painful to think about. Amazing work. Brava!

The way you work in those tiny little details and make it all fit into a big puzzle in the end was amazing. I love how the story twists and turns and how they find and lose and find each other. Wonderful work!

There are few things I love more than a mystery and this one was spectacular. I have to say that I never would have guessed what happened (which for me is a rare and wonderful thing), but I loved how you resolved the situation and everything made perfect sense in the end.

You really did a nice job paring down some off the parts that I initially felt were a bit drawn out. But the fic flowed well and the time I spent reading went quickly. I was completely engaged the majority of the fic. I actually re-read it in one sitting and although I know it was 96K, the pacing was so smooth I would have guessed closer to 50K. And kudos for such an amazing job incorporating your prompts.

What a wonderful addition to Team Cauldron. Our loss is their gain. ♥

I'm so glad I reread it in one go; reading it the first time, there were so many things that bothered me, things I thought would never make sense, or were poorly characterized, but now, I've seen the light. :)

To write a story this complex and so multi-layered took a great deal of planning, research and imagination. I'm in awe, really. I do love a story that's so rich in description (although I know we haggled a bit about this--from me, that's the pot calling the kettle black!); you created a world where all of my senses were engaged, and I'm so glad you stuck to your instincts on that point. Description to this extent is not every reader's cup of tea, but it is mine, and certainly is yours as well.

What I admire most, though, it that you had to characterize two separate Snapes, present them both from the beginning, and yet somehow manage to not clue the reader in that that were different. As a writer, I can appreciate how difficult this is, and it's a testament to your skill that I never once suspected until you revealed it in your own time. Of course, we only saw that first Snape through the eyes of others or in Pensieve memories, while we learnt the new one along with Harry.

There were so many times in this that I was frustrated beyond belief; I railed against Snape's stupidity and lack of integrity in honoring his prior character and choices, but it all came together in the end; it was because of the second Snape's integrity that he reacted/acted the way he did.

So many other things I want to mention: the original magic, Endell's story, your original characters, the inclusion of canon characters (also deeply characterized), the detail of the runic garden, the portraits, Kreacher, and the sexual scenes that acted out their relationship on a more subliminal level--all of it done so well, Kayla.

I know the length was a concern, but I'm so very glad you let your heart and mind take you where you needed to go, because it's a great story, a compelling one, the proof of which is that I've thought of it for months, ever since the first time I read it.

Doesn't matter to me what team you're on, kid. You did a wonderful job; you should be proud, and ex-Capitan or not, I sure as hell am. Congrats!

Wow. This is amazing. I'm another one who was hesitant when I saw 96k, but was hooked within a few paragraphs. The story was so complicated and well plotted. When the mystery was finally revealed, I was stunned. It was so sad, but in a way that didn't feel bad, if that makes any sense! And the happy ending was believable and appreciated.

I'm going to have to reread now to see all those clues I probably didn't catch.

Oh my god, I LOVE YOU. You are the only author I've ever read who can write an amazing (and it was truly amazing) romance while keeping it realistically angsty. So much of the romance I read is so dreadfully happy and perfect when in reality true love is often times more painful and filled with angst than with butterflies, "I love you"s, and bunnies.

Basically, you rock my socks and this was by far the best entry that I've read. Bravo.

What? No 10 option? I need more to express how much I like your story...

I love possessive! Severus, thougth I was in pain for Harry at first. The way all went at the end was so... wow, I have no words in your language...

That's our Severus!!! Dear, your story was a gift for him, a regard for his dead and the infamous epilogue. What better than a Handsome and caring Harry? And what a Harry! powerful but kind, with a amazing body...

I love all that jelousy...

Dear, you break my Snarry podium...

Thanks for many hours of pure joy and moving...

I love it when I find a long, complex Snarry where their relationship doesn't seem either forced or unnatural. No unaturally quick progress of affection towards Harry from Snape (in this, quite the contrary), or the OOC-ness which often comes with the pairing. Totally bought your characterization of both Harry and Snape, loved how the plot came together in the end, plus, well, the smexing was SO HOT, oh my. Loved this so much! Saving this among my favourites, yes indeed. This was so great

I absolutely loved this. I haven't had time to read any snarry games fics so far and you hav broken my duck, what a wonderful way to do it. I didn't read the prompt so I had no idea what was going to happen when Severus turned out to be a Severus from another reality, a wonderful twist that really knocked me for six!

Your Severus was so delightfully nasty to Harry, until he finally started to fall in love with him. I loved the background characters too, everyone from Narcissa to Paracelsus.

Wonderful story.

Thanks for sharing.

What a long, delightful twisted little plot - everytime I thought I knew where you were heading, you spun off in another direction. Loved your side characters and that you kept Harry and Severus in character while not keeping their personalities strictly cannon.

Well done.
