As nice as the vines and trees to be swung from were, the little wizard hadn't gotten it nearly high enough for a guy who was used to training on skyscrapers. Dick made a mental note to ask Peter to talk to his wizard boyfriend at some point to see if they could get some more height on it.

Out of uniform and perched on the tallest building in town (still not much of an accomplishment,) Dick stretched and glanced at his next target. There was an unoccupied house within a fairly long, but easy leap. He could make it no problem.

Or at least under normal circumstances, he could. As he started his leap off the roof, a loose shingle shifted under his foot completely ruining his trajectory and momentum. As he fell, he instinctively went for a grappling hook he didn't have on him.

He was going to have to twist if he wanted to land with minimal harm. Even then he was pretty sure this was going to end in injury. How severe would be up to that infamous bat-luck.

Clark, generally, wasn't a fan of feeling off-kilter. He supposed, though, in a world like this it was unavoidable. He took the other man's hand and gave it a firm shake. "Nice to meet you," he replied. "Are you from Metropolis?" Not that he wasn't known in other areas of the world, but based on how familiar Dick seemed to treat him, he figured it was a little more than just in passing.

"Have you been here for very long?" he asked as signalled toward the town. "I've only been here for a little over a week. Certainly takes some getting used to, doesn't it?"

"Gotham," he said, glad to have Metropolis on the table so he knew he wasn't dealing with actual Smallville Clark. He did still seem pretty fresh faced, though.

"I've been around for a few months now. It takes some getting used to, but once you learn to let go of all the questions it gets a bit easier. Not that I don't still wanna know, but like, keeping curiosity is different than letting the unknowns consume you."

Gotham.

That, certainly, made things more interesting. The name didn't quite ring a bell. The only Grayson he knew was from the circus that came into town once when he was a kid. But in bigger cities, though, there were probably a ton of them. The world was, certainly, not that small. The idea, itself, was comical.

Clark chuckled a bit. As a reporter, he knew all about curiosity. "It's certainly more peaceful than Gotham."
