Author’s Note: On the surface, Snape/Petunia is a crack pairing and yet if you go deeper there is actually a strong bond between them. They were children together, and both of them loved Lily with a fierce and possessive love. Despite or because of this affection for the mother, as adults both of them will despise and mistreat her child. This is the terrain I tried to explore in this story.
