ORIGINAL PSL IDEA: When the Olympians turned on the Titans they were sure to hide the truth from the scholars and theologians that worshipped their every whim. The deities were petty and cruel; they saw the happiness of their forbearers and sought to steal their influence on the world. Plato’s works regarding dual faces, and quadruped appendages applied to the Titans, not the mortals. The first and most powerful entities were torn apart and encased in mortal shells. Separated from their soul mates and enchanted with ignorance to their true selves they would be powerless to get retaliate. Instead they live every lifetime tied to flesh and blood, only to relive a new one in succession.
Centuries later, the immortal beings known as the Olympians have been forgotten by humankind. Without worship, the potency of their abilities are dwindled down to moderately enhanced beings with mere parlor tricks. Even lessened over the years their immortality has and always will withstand the tests of time. That is unless the Titans return. For the only way that the imprisoned beings can ascend to their ethereal home is to slay the devious gods. The storyline idea is that my character an imprisoned Titan, Kronos. Although only in close distance to his other half will he have the ability to fight or slay an immortal. His quest begins with finding his partner, only then can he hunt down the gods. If they succeed, they can return to power in the ethereal heavens. Meanwhile the gods have established lives among the mundane, Athena is a scholar trying to gain her claim to fame through knowledge, Apollo through modeling or acting, Aphrodite through sex and beauty, Hepheastus through arms manufacturing, and so forth.
