[One minute, she was discussing the next hunt with her father...still obedient and loyal, still looking at her like she'd died, like she was one of them, something to be hunted and captured and dealt with...and the next she wasn't.

She's just grateful she had her daggers in hand when it happened.

Standing near the base of a massive structure she has to step back to look at, and even then can't see the top, Allison is immediately on alert. Ring daggers at the ready, she turns in a slow circle to survey her surroundings...

And spots a tablet on the ground, roughly two feet away.

Glancing around, she walks over to carefully pick it up, finding the device is on and transmitting. She scans it for a moment, familiarizes herself with its functions, then finally addresses the feed.]

I don't know where I am? But when I find out, I'm going to kill whoever brought me here.

[Not a threat: a fact. This Allison has steel in her gaze, knives in her voice, and shoots her words like arrows, with perfect and deadly precision.

In any world, any universe...this is not the Allison that anyone knows.]

[...says the crazy girl from Eichen House. Only...well, hadn't she been committed pretty recently? At least within the last couple of months--her father was monitoring her, given the history of the Martin family. Allison hadn't really been paying attention.

Now she thinks maybe she should have been.

For the first time, she stops, tucks the tablet under her arm, and sheaths one of her daggers. A moment later, she reappears in the feed.]

[Lydia has no idea what she's doing when she vanishes from the feed, but then she appears again, looking slightly less murderous.

She keeps her voice even as she answers. Almost like she still doesn't believe one hundred percent that this is real. She may be at ninety percent at this point, but everything still feels so surreal.]

We're in a place called Dark City. There are a lot of us that just ended up here for no reason, like you did. And there are a lot of us. Versions of us, from different universes.

[She's not ready to have someone throw that at her. Mock her, and talk down to her. It doesn't matter if she knows now the voices are real. It doesn't matter if she understands more about why they're there. She's been terrified of this, exactly for months now.

Her jaw clenches and her eyes tear up, but she still manages to hold back any kind of break down.]

Why don't you figure it out for yourself?

[She's so angry all of the sudden. And so terrified of what this means. She doesn't think it's smart to threaten Allison. But she can't handle this, either. She knew what she was, she knew what it did, and she knew what they were doing to her. And she did nothing. Just let her be admitted to that place like a crazy psycho.

Lydia's eyes narrow, her jaw clenches. But her eyes tear up.]

If I'm so useless and incoherent to you.

Figure this place out for yourself!

[And then she disconnects the feed. Because she can't control her emotions for much longer and she refuses to break down in front of her.]
