Why does everything always go so wrong at once?

Okay, I would like to interrupt everyone's evening to just quickly inform whoever installed a hidden camera in the bedroom I share with my sister who is currently ten that they shouldn't worry about the fact that they can't see anything on the video feed anymore. That's just a side effect of my ripping it out of the ceiling. They should probably worry instead about how I'm going to rip their face off when I find them.

...I wore gloves when I did the ripping and put it in a plastic bag so someone could get prints. It's just...I don't smell anything. I swear, no one's been in this room except me and Dahlia.

But I still blame that creepy vampire. For the record. The camera was pointed at her bed.

Hol-y shit, Christmas came early. [Lisa pans the camera to show a cabinet about the same width and depth of two high school lockers put side-by-side. It's full of guns, knives, bows, and ammo.] Don't know if I'll use all of it this place being a little safer than home was, but I could get used to more of my wishes coming true.

[There's a familiar face on the screen but he's older than most of the others who wear his face. He looks tired, dirty, and he's sporting a beard. There's a cut above his right eye, but when he speaks he doesn't give off any awareness of being injured. There's no hint of pain in his voice at all.

Behind him there's a large paddock with high fencing wrapped around it. He holds the communicator in his hand.]

Hate to say it, but I told you so. Maybe before we let more visitors onto the island, we can consider moving the captive animals to a different location so the wild ones can't break in and eat our guests.

[His voice is dry and sarcastic. He hasn't slept in over 24 hours now.]

Also if someone could tell me where the hell my sister is, that'd be great.

[She stops herself from addressing the entirety of Dark City for a couple of days. The idea of it unsettles her, makes her nervous, but she steels herself against the possible backlash after two nights of being unable to sleep due to the guilt she feels over the couple who wandered into the maze and got trapped, over the werewolf with Aris's face who'd gone in to keep them safe.

Maybe she can prevent it from happening again. The three of them had gotten lucky. The next people might not.]

For those of you who don't know it, or even those of you who do...there's a Maze outside the Safe Zone. You shouldn't go in there for any reason -- not ever, but especially not at night. You could get trapped inside and there are monsters who guard it. Big ones. It's incredibly dangerous, and it's from my world.

I had a dream last night that gave me a great idea.

Okay, so I've been working on this basically since Thomas put up the idea about building the wall and the patrols and stuff... You should all have a copy of the list of groups and the schedule for the patrols. I don't know where things are on the whole...wall building part, but I figure even if it's not ready to start being worked on, nothing wrong with patrol groups going around now. People getting used to each other, working out how they'll do their routes, etc... I tried to make sure nobody that wants to kill each other are in groups together but If there's any problems among group members...I'm sure we can switch some people around or something if it's not something you can't work around? But I think we should be okay?

[One minute, she was discussing the next hunt with her father...still obedient and loyal, still looking at her like she'd died, like she was one of them, something to be hunted and captured and dealt with...and the next she wasn't.

She's just grateful she had her daggers in hand when it happened.

Standing near the base of a massive structure she has to step back to look at, and even then can't see the top, Allison is immediately on alert. Ring daggers at the ready, she turns in a slow circle to survey her surroundings...

And spots a tablet on the ground, roughly two feet away.

Glancing around, she walks over to carefully pick it up, finding the device is on and transmitting. She scans it for a moment, familiarizes herself with its functions, then finally addresses the feed.]

I don't know where I am? But when I find out, I'm going to kill whoever brought me here.

[Not a threat: a fact. This Allison has steel in her gaze, knives in her voice, and shoots her words like arrows, with perfect and deadly precision.
