I thought I would see if there is any interest in a study group, primarily in advanced mathematics. I could use a few more heads to help me decipher some formulas that are starting to drive me up the wall in terms of sorting them out.

New Who season date finally announced! And it's the day after summer finals end, perfect day for a TARDIS party! You better not disappont, Peter Capaldi, or I might end up going on an EXTERMINATE! rampage.

Ramadan begins this weekend. Does anyone here celebrate Ramadan? I want to make a note so I remember not to offer any food or drink to you during the day. I hope other people are respectful of the period of abstinence you are about to embark on. I was raised Baptist, but my dad stopped practicing after mom died, but I didn't give it up entirely. Speaking of religions, today is the day that Joseph Smith and his brother Hyrum were killed by a mob of men while they were in jail. Many people consider them martyrs. It's interesting to read about the Latter Day Saints, but I don't think it would be a good fit for me. I'm not sure there is a religious branch that I would ever really completely fit. I do like reading about them, though.
