"No Deal" by StarDuchess
Just a little something I whipped up today since our Yahoo membership just hit 666. ;)
Title: No Deal

Pairing: Snape/Devil (not)
Rating: PG
Word Count: 300
Warnings: none
Summary: When summoned by his number, the Devil tries to make a deal with Severus.
Severus was stomping into the Lounge, looking for perpetrators in his upcoming St. Valentine’s Day torment in the hopes of scaring them away from their self-appointed task, when he stopped dead at the sight before him.
Standing in the middle of the Lounge was a half-man, half-goat with pointed horns, a spiked tail, and a forked serpent’s tongue that was sinfully sliding over perfectly formed lips. The red eyes, so like the Dark Lord’s and yet not, held mischief.
“What, pray tell, are you doing in my Lounge?” Severus asked with cold disdain.
A small smile curved the lips. “I was summoned by my number. So I came to seal the deal.” He walked with swaying hips up to Severus’ stern figure. “What is it you would like? I can grant you anything--money, power, ...” he ran a finger down Severus’ face to his jaw and onward to his chest, all the while licking his own lips in hunger, “...sex.”
Severus sneered in disdain. “I’ve heard all the lies before and they no longer interest me. I have enough power and position in this world to enable any endeavour I wish, and as for sex, well,” he smirked, “I get more than enough of that around here.”
“Ah, well, then perhaps I could free you from this prison?”
He barked a bitter laugh. “I have already signed such a deal, twice, and each occurrence trapped me yet again, so I think not. But you are welcome to try; you will just have to consult my current mistresses. I assure you, nothing you could offer would let them release me. I am their blood. I am their joy and their ecstasy.”
With a crestfallen look, the Devil dropped his hand. “I see. It sounds like nothing could top that.”
“Indeed.”
