Title: Seduction to Cake
Author: starduchess
Pairing: Severus/all of us (gen, really)
Rating: G, sadly, although your mind is free to take it anywhere after this ;)
Word Count: 300

Summary: Severus suspected a plot. He wasn't disappointed.
A/N: Lovely, quick beta by Selkie. I, of course, own nothing. Not even the Lounge. Written for Severus *sighs* Third Anniversary Challenge, Prompt: Seducing the Enemy.
Severus suspected a plot. He certainly had not ordered the house-elves to clean his quarters till it shined; he had not sent out for the best Shepherd's Pie this side of the Thames; and he mostly definitely had not bought the matching sandalwood-scented bath and shaving soaps now residing in his cupboards. But the most obvious ploy came when he opened his wardrobe.
His robes, trousers, and jackets were all neatly pressed and sorted by colour: red-black, blue-black, green-black, and black-black. His white shirts were starched to within an inch of their lives. His (black) shoes sparkled with polish, and his clean (black) socks smelled faintly of lavender.
He didn’t even want to see the arrangement in his pants drawer.
With much trepidation he got dressed and proceeded out of the dungeons. He had been subjected to all kinds of indignities over the last few days, not to mention the last three years. He was, therefore, dreading what was coming next.
He turned the corner into the Lounge and stopped dead in his tracks, wand instantly in his hand. Everything was dark and quiet, but he could sense warm bodies all around.
Before he could react, though, someone clicked a deluminator, and light fled back into the sconces and three candles sitting atop a large chocolate cake.
“SURPRISE!”
The ladies and gentlemen of the Lounge were all standing around in their finest attire, holding champagne and wearing big grins on their faces. As the snowy one took his arm and guided him forward, they all raised their glasses in a toast.
“HAPPY THIRD ANNIVERSARY!”
Severus felt a small smile grow on his face. They had put him through his paces, but he knew deep down that showing interest in him was the highest form of their praise and affection.
