RP: Lunch with Pansy
Who: Everett, Emil & Pansy
When: 1st March
Where: The Parkinson-Topstitch Estate
What: Lunch - possibly awkward and disastrous. Who knows.
Everett knew better than to think this was going to be easy and he had certainly primed Emil so that he had adequate warning. Of course, he also knew that keeping his mother and his husband (and that was still a strange word to apply to someone in his life a week in) apart was not going to work forever. Indeed, he was surprised that it had gotten this far, in fact. It hadn't been without some pestering from Pansy, of course, and whilst both of their work schedules allowed for a reprieve in the week (and Everett really didn't think that an evening during the week was a good idea for this, he was certain a good few glasses of wine would be needed to make it through) it was now the weekend and he knew he'd run out of wiggle room.
He supposed that really, the nerves came from a place in which both of the people who were going to be present were very important to him and he'd rather that they got on, and equally the fact that he knew what his mother was like where attractive men were involved. And that was when the attractive men weren't even part Veela, let alone full Veela. One thing was for sure, this would be interesting.
Giving Emil one last quick kiss, he put himself through the floo first, stepping out the other side into the entrance hallway of the Estate and brushing own his robes off as he stepped through. Immediately, a house elf appeared, gasping "Master Everett!" before dashing off, presumably to go and find his mother and let her know of his arrival.
