Please don't post PAD
Just a heads up guys, PAD has made it pretty clear that he's not comfortable with our community, and that he's willing to involve the legal department of his employer, to prevent our posting snippets of his work. So no PAD scans, even under flock. While he's been more accepting of our posting older works, he's also made noises about wanting people to ask for his permission before scanning and sharing even small portions of his work.

Let's respect his wishes on this.

ETA: anon commenting is off. IP addresses are (and always have been) logged. Dissent is welcome but trolling, and disrespecting members is not. Keep things civil, guys. To comment you can create an account or log in through open id.

	Yeah! It's terrible! Even worse, as I stated in my post, Pad has spoken out against those things that help me make an informed choice. Sadly, it's easier to get those online than it is to get scans of certain moments that one might be curious about.

Me, I just want to be able to make an informed choice. Pad's stance/opinions really haven't prevented that in anyway for me, but if they were somehow instituted, they sure would.

Plus, like I said, he *cheats*. I bought 25 issues of X-Factor with the expectation of Guido, Wolfsbane and Siryn having some nice character development. That was the premise of the book, that's how it was promoted and that's *not* what I got. Instead, the book was centered around Madrox, who under Pad (and after 40 issues), still can't made a choice of what to do with his life.

Simply put, Pad's position is intellectually doshonest. He wants us to play a game where he sets the rules on a whim. Screw that and screw him.

	But did you enjoy them at all? You state you didn't get what you expected, but did you enjoy them? It seems to have taken you a while...over 2 years... to decide you didn't want to buy them any more. X-Factor is one of my favorite books and one I have looked forward too every month. 	That and personally I don't always agree with reviews. I mean, I've actually seen positive reviews of BND. If I had to go off on that, I might have actually bought that crap. By checking it out myself I knew up ahead not to waste my money on it. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	To use another retail example, clothing stores allow you to try on clothes before you buy them. Honestly, though, these arguments are running in circles. Whether or not we, as scans_daily, scan and post comics, the bottom line is that piracy will not disappear if we do. For better or for worse, the comics industry is going to have to adjust, somehow. 	I can't say anything about posting full stories or anything like that, but aren't solicits basically like the summaries you get on the back of the book cover or on Amazon? Saying that people shouldn't even be allowed to have access to that much is pretty much my problem with PAD's approach. It's like saying you can't ever watch a trailer before paying to see the movie. Reviews dont say as much as a few pages.like on scan daily.
You also get to see the art.
and sometime the people doing the reviews dont realy get what's hapening and tell it wrong.

Images are wort a thousand words.

and there's some things you cant tell how awsome they are just with words.
like Blue Beetle's mom.

I'm also geting tired of people talking about scan_daily like somewhere you could read the whole comic for free.
it was reviews with pictures!

	well my shop only have comics peoples ask for.I cant look at comics in other peoples folders. And it can take a few months before taking a dicision about a new comic. like I did for Blue Beetle,JSA,Bird of Prey,Batgirl and others. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	Every Chapters store I go to allows you to read whatever you want. They even have nice chairs and couches. I got to read the whole Secret Invasion there one day... Come to think of it, damn those bastards for letting me read that. (Reply to this) (Parent)
